Summary :
Pong Krell's Battalion had always been known for its terrible casualties rates. Under the Jedi's brutal orders, surviving was no more than a hope. It didn't stop them from trying, however. And did they try... Astral had done everything in his power to keep his troopers alive. Such was his duty as a Commander, and he was ready to do everything for his vod'ike. That was why he made sure to prepare for the day he'd die. Captain Spear was now left behind at the head of the Battalion, with only his grief, a sliced datapad and the difficult task of leading their fight for survival.
lately ive been bedridden with a terrible case of i dont wanna
Ill never forgive the aftg fandom for saying aftg is poorly written but loveable. it is so fucking well written. The characters are all interesting individually and as group dynamics. The plot is unexpected but always makes sense. Theres so many incredible 1 liners said. Theres humour. Theres heartfelt love. Theres angst. You can cry and you can laugh and you can get invested. Nora made characters with actual fucking personalities instead of just catalysts for neil's story. She did this so well she was able to take 2 minor characters and give them an entire sequel.
having an archenemy as a grown ass man is so gay actually. what are you arching? your back?
Tried a filter on one to distract you from the awful background (got fed up w/ it) & it almost looks romantic without the blood đ
So yeah uh bathroom scene but different đ
no amount of situations will ever destroy my chiller's soul. Understand this
this tweet is new but it is actually a fundamental text for me
craving the kind of intimacy that requires surgical tools
I'm the writer for team 3 and had the pleasure to work alongside the amazing artists that are PaxDuane (ao3) and @partykuma (Tumblr and Bluesky), as well as @kaelesti who's my incredible beta reader and helped me more than I could ever say <3
We'll be posting of December 18 !

Pong Krell's Battalion had always been known for its terrible casualties rates. Under the Jedi's brutal orders, surviving was no more than a hope.Â
It didn't stop them from trying, however. And did they try... Astral had done everything in his power to keep his troopers alive. Such was his duty as a Commander, and he was ready to do everything for his vod'ike. That was why he made sure to prepare for the day he'd die. Snippet :
ââuseless clone ! We need to get to this outpost in time, and still you seem determined to slow us down. Are you trying to sabotage this mission ?âÂ
The lightsaber was a flicker away from Spearâs throat, the fire of the blade biting his skin like a brand but not yet touching. He stayed at perfect attention.
âNo sir.â
âBe careful CT-4277. I do not tolerate such behavior. Get everybody moving.â
âYes sir.â He answered with a salute. He waited long enough for the lightsaber to be retracted before yanking his helmet back on his head and getting into motion.Â
Spear didn't spare a glance at the Generalâs retreating back. He turned to Chime who hadn't moved from his side.Â
âHowâs Nau ?â
âFailsafe is with them. They'll be fine.â
âGood. Send the word that if anybody feels they're at their limit like that, they're to go into one of the tanks. We'll implement a rotation if needed.â
âYes Captain. Don't worry about the kid, they'll be out and about in no time.â
âI know,â he smiled tiredly, a small crook of the lips. âIt's not some exhaustion and frostbite that's going to stop them from running around.â
That drew a few chuckles from the lieutenant.Â
âCome on, boys ! Let's not suffer any more delay !âÂ
âaftg is badly writtenâ ok then explain how it changed my life. literally, this series isnât even classic literature but i think about it every day, more than i do any classic or âmasterpieceâ.
aftg changed my life when i first read it at seventeen and it still haunts me now that i am nineteen. it has changed my perspective of mental illness. it has changed my perspective on trauma. it has awakened my awareness to socially unacceptable mental disorders and trauma responses. it has changed my perspective of the legal system. it has changed my perception of the foster system. it changed my perspective on the united states. it has encouraged me to become a foster parent and to look out for our youth. it taught me that love, kindness and gentleness is still possible even if youâve never been given it yourself. it makes me think about lies and telling the truth every day. it makes me grateful for where i am today and hopeful for where i can come to be.
stop hating on nora if you canât even consider the depth of her work <3
forced to say âitâs okâ instead of throwing a chair at them
