This is about Reiner in fanfiction that aren’t about Reiner. He’s often depicted as a toxic ex or a violent person and I know they’re just fanfiction but in canon when was the last time you saw him harm anyone out right. When Sasha punched him unprovoked he said she was right despite it being unreasonable- he let Eren punch his face with his silly nubs. He’s just a teddybear 😞 I know he’s a fictional soldier but he’s genuinely just a teddybear

isayama once said that the only time reiner and bertholdt were at peace and felt safe was when they were asleep dreaming. so hear me out they would sleep together (not like that) quite often esp if one of them was particularly upset that day or something

and at first one (typically reiner) would wake up before anyone else and get back into his own bed so as to avoid anyone discovering them. but one day bertholdt was the one that woke up first instead — and when he would sleep next to reiner he wouldn’t wake up half off the bed — but he didn’t really want to wake reiner up bc he looked so peaceful.

eventually he fell back asleep and then everyone else started to wake up…and connie was the first to notice them. yes connie springer. then eren. the two people you really wouldn’t want to find something out first. so they yelled “OH MY GOD GUYS LOOK” and everyone came over and saw the two strongest men of the 104th just casually cuddling and they were all just speechless.

luckily they didn’t wake them up but instead some of them RAN to annie like “bro you won’t believe this” and annie was like “yeah they do that all the time. they’re like always touching how have you guys not noticed this before” and it further freaks everyone out bc now the GIRLS know and it’s like oh shit they’re gay. annie wished they had a camera so she could’ve told the guys to take a photo of them

they wake up and notice that 1) they’re still basically fused with each other and 2) everyone is gone. oh shit. they’re both freaking out and also getting ready as to not be late and once they reach the field or wtv where everyone is everyone doesn’t know what to say but they know. annie is trying not to laugh bc she’s a bit mischievous like that ok shush, bertholdt is mortified and wants the ground to swallow him whole and reiner is like “yeah and so what??” and very nonchalant abt it somehow, everyone else just goes “yep ok sorry” and it’s never mentioned again. to their faces anyway. ymir, connie and sasha are always talking about it.

ok so I’ve been seeing once again bertholdt hate. Ok honestly you’re just hating on him because he was always quiet and only with Reiner, calling him useless. But without him, he would’ve have not destroyed the wall, and without him destroying the wall means Eren’s mother would have not died. AND WITHOUT HER DEATH EREN WOULD NOT FEEL SUCH HATRED TOWARDS TITANS!! Bertholdt is an important character. Important to the warriors, important to the plot. He was VERY USEFUL!! Without him, how would Eren become the Attack Titan?? Without Bertholdt no one in the scout regiment wouldn’t meet. Without Bertholdt, Reiner wouldn’t be able to destroy the second wall.

If you call him useless, you did not understand any of the warriors. He was a kid, a kid who was brainwashed to hate the people of Paradis. He was brainwashed to call them devils WITHOUT OUT KNOWING WHO OR HOW THEY TRULY ARE! Propaganda also manipulated him. He just wanted to help his sick father and by doing that he needed to become a warrior.

These bertholdt hate blogs, needs to go study his character and how important he is, HOW IMPACTFUL HE IS TO THE STORY LINE.
