yall love portraying misha like he's never seen an electric stove before, so to that i propose an alternative interpretation: what if he's the progressive one. bear with me. we know for a fact that uranium is bumfuck nowhere, with like one mall and one gay guy in it. misha's hometown is unspecified, but we know it's near odesa, and odesa is your average european city with historical buildings, fancy restaurants and a loooong seafront. look it up on pinterest, the city's genuinely beautiful. google is more up to date so you'll find more tragic things there, ukraine's still at war, the city is often targeted. now an average odesa resident would be drinking their vegan decaf matcha latte in a third wave cafe in the morning and then hearing bombs at night, turns out these things are not exclusive.

even if you don't have the money there's plenty of stuff to do in odesa, at the very least misha had to have spent time there (where do you think he got inspo for this song is awesome huh?). so like what if he's the one walking around complaining why there isn't a waterpark nearby or why does everything looks stuck in the 90s. bonus point if everyone keeps thinking he's the uncivilised one

how the fandom treats constance is literally how she was treated in life. it feels like barely anyone takes time to actually know her and chalks her up to “nice baker person who reads yaoi” - can we talk about her intense love for family? her niceness coming from an innate sense to people please and her immediate reaction to minimize herself in many social situations - yet still feel so angry that she can’t let out her real personality around anyone? her guilt for feeling such anger? can we have more people talk about possible insecurities and self esteem issues she struggles with? can we talk about how naturally she’s (brutally?) honest in character and is a great leader when ocean isnt shutting her down? how her humor is usually darker and she is a jokester at heart that is just looking for fun when she’s allowed to be herself? and maybe that extends to her making an online presence for her and finding connections with people on the internet or usually spending time on there? imagine her connections with the rest of the choir other than ocean: her and ricky sharing a love for, well, love and all their kooky niche internetty interests; her and mischa poking fun and anything and everything, formulating inside jokes that have the deepest lore that only they understand; noel pushing constance to stand up more for herself and constance helping noel see the joy in optimism, the possibilities are endless with her and she still is one of the most underrated and underanalyzed rtc characters:(

So hi I gotta say something.

I’m on RTC TikTok bc of how much content I posted/interacted with for our Majestic Rep production. There’s a production of Cyclone, I believe it’s a high school production, and I am seeing a relatively regular amount of users sharing videos of this production and ridiculing the performers, making fun of them, and genuinely being bullies to these performers & this production. I personally think that’s pretty messed up as these are children/teens. Like, honestly and truly how would you feel if your high school’s production made the rounds and dozens of people across the country/possibly the world were making fun of you? Personally I’d feel pretty shitty.

These are young performers, they’re still learning, we are all growing and they are presumably at the beginning of their journey. Y’all gotta realize that, these are people at the end of the day- young people who are taking the scary leap of performing a show that is VERY difficult for even most adults to do. I really hope that none of them have seen the hate bc if that were me as a little high schooler I would have felt humiliated and probably would’ve given up immediately.

There’s no reason to be hating on a HS production or ANY production for that matter. We’re performers, we do this bc we want to share the stories, we want to entertain, they didn’t hurt anyone. They’re just kids playing make believe for an audience.

Point blank period: you can have your opinions, but it’s never okay to bully people. We have got to do better y’all.

He is a poet, a lyricist, a media analyst, and a GOOD one at that (even if he gets the movie title wrong). he is thoughtful and smart, and YOU have a bias against people who do not speak English as a first language, even if it means you disregard canon characterization for a punchline to a bad and overdone joke.

I don’t understand the “mischa cant cook” thing, that is a mamas boy that is a man very connected to his culture and its food that is a boy that had to learn to survive on his own very early on in life when his mom first got sick I don’t get why we’re so so determined to make him a skill-less funny haha immature man child

what do you think of Mischa x Noel?

Ay thanks for the question!

My personal interpretation of them is that they are ride or die (lol) best friends. They GET each other, and they support each other. Mischa probably befriended Noel trying to defend him from some bullies but realized that Noel is strong enough to defend himself, which Mischa admires a LOT. They both talk shit about Ocean together, Noel lets Mischa talk about Ukraine/Talia all he wants, lets him plays him his music, probably has featured on a track. Mischa lets Noel be himself, lets him talk about drag race, poetry, old movies, etc.

I honestly do think in a sense that they are soul mates (it’s my belief personally that everyone has multiple in different ways; some romantic, some platonic, some familial)- however where my opinion tends to drift from some others is that I don’t think there’s anything other than fierce platonic love going on there. Maybe some feelings coming from Noel -> Mischa, it’s absolutely possible, I mean he chose Mischa to be his tango partner in his number, so there’s gotta be something to that. But as for my personal interpretation of Mischa, he is head over heels in love with his fiancé; she is his entire world, and I think Noel knows and respects that. So I don’t SHIP Noel X Mischa myself, but I do love their dynamic and I do think they genuinely love each other. Sort of the dynamic duo of Uranium City.

(Also I just wanted to add, no disrespect if y’all ship Nischa, trust me I have my fair share of ships, it’s just not my personal interpretation)
