Otaku Altar To Open in Osaka, Japan

An Osaka company has announced the opening of a new "Altar For Otaku", where fans can hold traditional Japanese funerals for their favorite anime/game/2D characters, mourn idol groups that break up, or hold other traditional ceremonies (weddings, anniversaries, etc.) related to otaku/geek culture.

it just. it would be so easy to replace hunting-exotic-wildlife tourism with photographing-exotic-wildlife tourism. it's the perfect solution. rich tourists would still get to spend their money going to the same countries and feeling cool about demonstrating a "skill" by using expensive rented equipment to "shoot" rare animals, under guidance by local experts. they would even still end up with a souvenir to hang on their wall as a trophy (professional-grade photography they shot themselves). it's the perfect solution

vampire fangs that protrude when vampires get excited. yes this includes bloodlust but also just general excitement.

imagine a vampire who giggles so hard at a joke their teeth stick out and they accidentally start wheezing on their own spit. a vampire giving a speech and they're nervous and agitated and halfway through their fangs come out and they have to finish the speech with a very distinct lisp. nerdy vampire who is gushing on about a special interest and gets so excited they cut their tongue on a fang; they keep explaining train timetables through a mouthful of blood.

Shou Toramaru yet again! ...this time after her dinner.

I'll be real here, I just wanted to draw blood, and I really like thinking of Shou as a tiger youkai (even if she isn't really) so I thought that it'll be a perfect excuse lmao.

This idea lingered in my head for a little while, and just strengthened when I read Zounose's Hungry Tiger, and his other works! Also Shibayan's Oznei Haman Wa Mou Iranai was a huge inspiration! The art is kind of outdated, I see many imperfections, so I'm probably gonna redraw it sometime.
