Danganronpa despair time makes my brain spur (idk how to word it lol)

Gonna start on requests tonight and then go to sleep and upload them when I'm finished with them all lol

But I came to dump that I've watched the owl house finale and started drawing a Danganronpa despair time x owl house AU but like only the idea of them as kids in the demon realm with Teruko being the only human

I did this with the canon Danganronpa games before lol but I wanted to draw them in the hexide , glandus, and st epiderm uniforms. I'll upload what I drew when I get the chance along with the requests I got. (Thank you guys , so happy to draw again)

Arturo is definitely a st epiderm kid while Charles and whit give me glandus kid vibes.

I just have no idea who the other people in the apartment complex would room with. Already thought of Ace and Levi but only because I thought the idea of neither one of them wanting to back down from leaving the apartment to be funny. Like Ace claims that it's his house so Levi should be the one to leave and vice versa.

Veronika x Arturo - their moments are just so interesting. I want to dissect them so much. I want more moments for them because of how much they bring me joy when they're together. I'm so frustrated that I can't explain this ship , it just itches my brain ◉⁠‿⁠◉

Rose x teruko - idk their interactions in chapter two really made me ship them more than I usually did in chapter 1. The pull up scene was cute.

Nico x rose - their free time event together was really cute. But it's kind of sad that Nico used his time with rose to use something she had around to help with his murder plan with Ace. Other than that their ship hasn't gone down a peg because I still enjoy them as a ship.

Veronica x Ace - I don't know they seemed cute. Saw some other people ship them and I became kind of hooked. There interactions just make me want more.

Get character development

Interactions are funny and make me want more , but are too one dimensional for me to be like "oh yeah they'd be cute romantically" even though one hates the other and the other can't stop threatening them

Levi x Ace? - listen I don't know. There interactions just make we want more. I don't ship them but I also don't see them as a brotp. But I'm also not neutral towards them either. I don't know how to explain them because ?????. I guess I have to wait and see what their characters Intel (unless Levi is the murderer for chapter 2 or something lol )

Mixed feelings

Not ships really but dynamics I enjoy because they pick my brain in a way that's different than my romantic ships and platonic ships

Eden x Arei - I don't know if I should ship them romantically or not. What Arei did to Eden is not okay but that confession to Eden really touched my heart with water and almost drowned it. If only Arei didn't die , I would've loved to see how differently she would've treated Eden after this.

David x Hu? - somethings going on between them in the chapter two trial. I don't know kind of want Hu to strangle David lol [my sister says they read like divorced parents]

Arei x David - you can't fake a blush this one's not really one I enjoy as much as the other ones but I felt like I needed to put this here because I wonder if David actually tries to hide that he has feelings for other people.

David x Xander (xanvid)- same as above.

Brotp

Should stay friends but in a ✨best friends ✨ type of way. I don't know how to explain my brotps just know they could work as roommates but not in the same way Charles , teruko and whit are.

Teruko x David - saw someone say they mirror each other and I can't get that out of my head.

Veronica x teruko - the moments in chapter 2 made me like their interactions

Eden x teruko - their chapter 2 moments and the fact that teruko basically admitted that she didn't want to hurt Eden because of her bad luck because Eden is so nice to her. (I would ship them if it wasn't for brain only seeing them as just friends , may change later on but omg I love these two together) overall very cute

Hu x Levi - dad and mom duo?. Maybe lol but like platonic because they don't read as romantic

Eden x Levi - chapter two interactions. I don't know. their scene in the kitchen was pretty cute

Don't think about these ships often enough to dislike them or fawn over as much as the ones above.

Teruko x min - I liked their interactions before her death but I never thought about the ship so their last interaction didn't have as big as an impact on me as the story made it out to be.

Teruko x Xander - same as above but their interactions had a huge affect on me to the point where imma remain neutral untill I get answers for what the heck happened at the beginning "why did you ask me to kill teruko" . Ultimate rebel my butt , taking orders from someone lol.

Arturo x Charles - don't know how this ship came to be so I remain neutral on it lol. Don't hate it as their colors match really well. Just don't see how they would act if they were "together" because they barely interact.

Dislike

I don't understand these ships listed from their interactions to their characters themselves

J x Arturo - their something about 'some' obsessive x target dynamics I dislike. I don't know what it is. I'm neutral on J's character to the point where I can't hate Arturo as a character because of his actions towards J. I don't know how to explain it lol. Their interactions were interesting mostly because it was the most emotion I've seen Arturo show and J's yelling voice makes my eyes light up. (Her VA is so good). Other than I find their dynamic interesting I wouldn't like them as friends or romantic. I says friends only because it depends on how despair time frames them making up with each other because while Arturo acted creepy towards J I don't know how I feel about dog piling someone about their dead sister is the right way to get pay back. J has not obligation to forgive Arturo for his actions towards her either but I wonder where their dynamic will take them after chapter 2 (because I'm confident neither of them are the killer)

J x Arei - never seen the appeal of this ship. I don't know kind of want people to not mock J about the way she dresses or chooses to behave. (This is just my opinion though if you saw it as teasing I won't berate you about it but It personally didn't sit right with me)

Arturo x Eden - Eden accidentally triggered Arturo causing him to threaten her with a scaple because he doesn't want his secret known (not Edens fault obviously.... I just don't want to base a ship off threats to their lives)

Nico x Hu - I don't know , it feels weird to ship this.

[Whit and Teruko barely had any moments this chapter but I loved their moments in chapter one. Whit trying to make her laugh and apologizing to her if he suspects he's made her uncomfortable. (This is the bare minimum but it's rare to see this in shows.)]

The three are roommates. Teruko desperately wants them to kick her out the polycule because she she believes she's hurting them but whit and Charles reassure her that she's the best person to them.

They need a ship name because I luv these three as a group and can't wait for more for them. I hope these survive.

Just character talk and my opinion overall

So ummm David.... I started to actually like his character more this chapter. Really glad he's most likely not the killer because I want to see the others characters interactions with David now knowing his secret.

Same with Arturo because boy am I hoping he gets character development. Yeah I never hated his character even with his weird obsession with J but I'm sure his character will get more development now. (Hundred percent sure he's not the killer because in my opinion it'd be stupid if he was).

I also want more verturo moments because I love them as well.

I 100% believe Hu to be killer though but I'm kind of sad if it's true because I wanted to see her interactions with David after this trial. Because I loved the interactions they had. David calling Hu out for her crap but also Hu's reaction towards David's "real" personality was *chef's kiss*...... I really wish Hu was mostly likely not the killer but at the same time hope she is.

Hu never really annoyed me. I can see why she annoyed others but a character like hers can never annoy me because I'd always want more from her and this trial gave me just that. I genuinely believe that's she the murder with no remorse. If she's not then that's fine too. This trial gave me something for her character that a secret like that is not needed.

David song is "the bidding" by tally hall though

Im really scared for Eden though. I don't want her to die next chapter but I'm scared for how this may affect her. She was already hurt so badly about aeri's death and now knowing that David is a full on liar might make her shut herself from the group. But knowing her she's gonna put on a brave face.

Also Charles and teruko continue to be my biggest ship. (Along with whit because he's part of the ot3)

Also what does end of part 1 mean because..... I have no concept of time lol.

Anyway I liked what we have of this chapter. I don't hate any of these characters (Arei I'm still neutral on but I don't hate her. Nor characters that people normally hate like teruko , Arturo, Hu etc in fact I really love most of the ones I listed)

Wait we're getting extra content after this write. With arei and her unconfirmed killer.

I'm exited for that. Also maybe more free time events.

This just made me remember how he kind of freaked out on not knowing about some yokai watch reference that shuichi brought up. (The cool big brother answer when asked about what's the first thing he thinks of when he hears the word kappa)

I can now fully picture kiyo refering to pop culture characters as "creatures" thanks to your latest shinsai drawing

i imagine he works on like. mom logics for these things. confidently calls every pokemon a pikachu. texts in half sentences ending with ... uses emojis very randomly and he thinks 😂 is a crying face.

shuichi doesn't seem overly concerned with pop culture, but canon seems to indicate he has a base level understanding on it at least. i don't think he'd have the heart to correct him because it's very endearing. would probably give kokichi some sort of allergic cringe reaction though.

How many Danganronpa characters fit the song "circus from I could use a drink"

Had a dream where urakara , iida , and deku all lived in the same apartment.

Urakara and iida both shared a room untill it eventually became urakara's room to herself because iida kept sleepwalking and falling asleep in the bathtub they had in their apartment.

So how did both hajime and korekiyo end up at the hagakure residence.

TBH you asked for how they came to the residence but I ended up explaining their relationship, I apologize for that

Korekiyo's sister ended up dying like in canon so korekiyo ends up staying at the hagakure residence.

Before than (or after haven't decided) hajime ,after a tearful speration between him and Izuru , stumbles upon an old cottage , where he meets Hiroko and she ends up taking him. She tells him she has a son , who off somewhere , and then finds out that hajime is all alone and decides to "legally" adopt him

Korekiyo doesn't know of hajime's existence but he wants to study humans so he spends his whole life trying to find one in order to research one , not knowing that that hajime is living in the same residence as him.

Hajime is older as he is 14 while korekiyo is 12 in this AU.

Haven't figured out how they avoided each other for so long but after an emotional night with korekiyo he ends up freaking out and running back home where he finds hajime just sitting on their couch lol

All I can picture is this meme for their encounter because I haven't decided if hajime knows he's in the house either

Yasuhiro believed that'd they already met each other so he's freaking out along with because they're both screaming so there must be something wrong.

He ends up having to explain to them the situation.

After explaining korekiyo ends up following hajime everywhere asking him questions about being a human.

It was such a cute AU idea I had.

I like the initial idea I had where the masterminds were in the empire's coven

Aswell as my idea for how izuru and hajime came to be in the boiling isles. The idea of two humans coming to another world but then going their separate ways is such a good idea so I'm glad I came up with it.

I genuinely don't know why I made hagakure that much older than everyone since he's canonically just 5-6 years older than the rest of the cast. But I'm not complaining. May change his age to be closer to canon. Haven't really figured it out.

Really really liked my idea for what I was going for with tsumugi though, it's was cute with my initial idea for her friendship with korekiyo and angie

I’m only going to be doing the main characters of this AU

Hajime(14) and Korekiyo (12) both live with Yasuhiro (36) and Hiroko (50)

Yasuhiro and Hiroko are hiding Hajime’s identity from the emperor (not revealed yet) and the rest of the boiling isle

Korekiyo and Hajime share a room in the attic of the house

Korekiyo doesn’t know Hajime is human and thinks he’s just a magicless witch

Their house is located in the woods (similar to the owl lady in the owl house , though the Hagakure's are much closer to the town)

Korekiyo and Angie (12) Are sort of friends 

Korekiyo reluctantly lets Angie helps him try to track down a human in the boiling isles, but later on learns to appreciate her company and companionship

Angie by the end of the AU knows a lot about Korekiyo’s thought process and past

Tsumugi (12) , Izuru (14), Junko (14), and Mukuro (14) are all in the emperor's coven.

Tsumugi ( to an extent later on) and Mukuro are extremely loyal to Junko 

Izuru is the highest ranking only slightly at par with Junko

They all (with the maybe exception of Junko) believe the emperor wants what's best for them

Sonia (14) and Gundham (14) are sweethearts and also best friends of Hajime’s

They both know Hajime’s secret and are trying their best on keeping it from Angie and Korekiyo (it is hard)

Hajime and Izuru are siblings

Hajime is the older twin

Izuru and Hajime have been in the boiling isle for a long time and currently have a rocky relationship with each other.

After a fight when the two were 10 , they sort of separated from each other, each getting picked up by different people (Hiroko and the emperor)

Both were transported to the realm of magic when they were 8

Nobody know what the emperor looks like except Junko and Izuru

Listen I luv overhaul in collar shirts and nagant looks beautiful in purple , but I feel like the orange color they were wearing really popped.

I know it's most likely because they didn't want to recognized so quickly , but tbh nagant's outfit makes her stand out more lol
