If you can't tell I have nothing else to do and want to remember these memes
Guess which new hole I have fallen into
So I just watched the first episode of the Live Action and it is VERY GOOD.
It was really fun, and the differences made are interesting so I'm looking forward for the next.
The main thing that I picked up that I really liked was the set of roles that were established when the map safe was involved.
Nami had the knowledge necessary to locate the safe, but not the strength to open it.
Luffy didn't have the knowledge to find or open it, but had the strength to break the safe out of the floor so that it could be done later. Although he could lift it, it would be a bit difficult.
And that's where Zoro comes in. He can lift it with relative ease, although he likely wouldn't think about breaking it out of the floor impulsively and certainly wouldn't know where it is.
Nami has the knowledge, and as navigator she needs to know about everything involving the sea.
Zoro has the strength to act as a combatant, but also to support the others as first mate.
Luffy also has the strength to act as a key combatant, but he operates at the very front and makes it easier for his first mate- just as a good captain should.
They all contribute in a small way, and it really shows their dynamic as a crew already forming so early on.
this is just constantly in my mind tbh
any time anyone asks me what one piece is even about i’m just going to show them this i think
I TOTALLY FEEL THIS AS AN ARO
I JUST WANT TO SEE THEM KISS AND WATCH CREEPILY IN THE CORNER
being ace is so weird cause when you're watching shows you get a lot of "omfg this person is so hot i want them to kiss me" but you're just here like "omfg this person is so hot i want them to kiss this equally hot person who has chemistry with them"
The Himbo™ energy is off the charts
Experimenting with my art again
I think we should steal Zoro from the dudebros indefinitely
Eternally fascinated by the fact that, canonically, Zoro's single (1) neuron is good at maths
"Kuina's death is ridiculous" yes! That's the point! You do realize that falling down the stairs is a way of showing Zoro how fragile human lives are, right? You are aware that the point of Kuina's character is the unfairness of the world towards women in comparison to the privileges men have, like living in itself and fulfilling their dreams, right? You know that Kuina's death is "ridiculous and dumb" because it's meant to show that even the strongest person Zoro knew could die from something so little, right? You understand that the value Zoro gives to life is fucking immense, right? Right?? You realize Zoro can't seek revenge because nobody took her away from him and now the only thing he can do is become the world's greatest swordsman to avenge her death, right? You get that Zoro's character is an atheist because he doesn't believe in anyone and he can only rely on himself when it comes to Kuina's sudden death, right? You are aware that sometimes people die in the simplest of ways and that doesn't make them weak because death doesn't discriminate, right? You know that all of these things are what make Zoro's character so interesting and important, right? Right??? You know, right?
Well, of course you fucking don't because if you knew you wouldn't be saying her death is ridiculous <3
She/her (Although I don't really care tbh) I'm also aromantic and cisgender.
