The Hanged Man - Card 12
Upright- Letting go, sacrificing, pausing to reflect, uncertainty, spiritual development
Reversed- Discontentment, stagnation, negative patterns, no solution, fear of sacrifice
Yes Or No- Maybe
Meaning
The Hanged Man represents ‘the waiting game’ that is often a part of life progression. Although we are rarely happy about being stuck in limbo, there are times when nothing else can be done, and we are forced to be still. This often requires the sacrifice of people and things that we would rather hold on to. The Hanged Man tarot card wants you to know that sometimes, we have to accept a loss for the greater good. Acceptance and letting go are key if you ever want to move forward.

Dawkins is the character that seems to sacrifice the most. Sure Dolly and Dylan give up their personal time a lot, but Dawkins is the one working right along side them. Then who is in charge when Dolly, Dylan and the parents are out oft he house? Dawkins of course! His sacrifices are especially seen in the episode where he goes on strike. Its gotten to the point where Dawkins doesn’t know how to relax without feeling productive and the house will fall apart without him. Then he was the one most hurt when all the Fetch Bots were returned to the store and shall I mention Princess Positron? This guy needs to find some friends outside the house! At least the canal gang are a good start!

Dawkins in the Space Aesthetic!
For Dylan, I would have gone for a NASA theme. For Dolly, Alien horror, for Da Vinci, Galaxy abstract, ect, ect. However Dawkins? Dawkins is a HUGE sci-fic NERD! Live long and prosper! Here we have a badge and communication collar, blue science sector Star Trek Shirt and a control panel bag! (Along with an out of place Princess Positron keychain!)
I have a running joke in my mind that the family is split right down the center, 50/50, on Star Trek VS Star Wars. Delilah's side is hard core Star Trek. Doug's is Star Wars! Everyone that came after the family mixed is on one side or the other. Everyone can get a bit... argumentative over the subject. So the rule is- No talking about politics, gossip, or the 'STAR' debate at the dinner table. Food starts flying with that last one...
What? Oh, everyone likes Dr Who and Everyone hasn't checked out Stargate yet.
I was inspired by a girl from a gothic festival and a good friend of mine, so I drew these dudes in the same outfits they were wearing.
Drawing for person who always buys me food when we go out.
