Zoro: He got arrested for doing something stupid, but the gaurds were like “damn he’s good” and gave him the opportunity to get good pay and other perks working “babysitting duty” Zoro was oblivious to the devil child he was about to have to deal with, poor man.

Ide say he’s around 16-17 in this au, I made luffy pretty young so I thought why not just make everyone else a little younger and since it’s “yee olden time” their age is not so out of place.

(Heads up there will be no shipping in this au, there is no ship better than friendship.)

I remember drawing an elf luffy for a straw page once, and I can’t help but think an elf luffy au would be so cool because of the angst opportunity’s

He loves the people around him so much, so image Luffy of all people having to watch as his friends and family die slowly without him.

You don’t really get to see modern Fae Luffy in this au so I just had to draw what I think he’d look like, I’ll maybe draw more fanart of this au in future because its consuming my brain and I want to make some Sabo art at some point lmao.

Me nerding about it:

I wanted to give him that fae look by giving him pointed ears clear skin and those goddamn neon eyes, I also gave him some gold earrings because why have so much ear if you never pierce ears.

For his shirt I wanted to keep the red shirt but give it a more forest fantasy look, I slightly based it more on the post time skip, which takes me to the open back shirt, listen. It’s fancy it’s cool it serves let me have this please I’m just a girl.

His belt has some gold accents and bags to carry food and shiny things.

I gave him longer sandals simply because that’s the only way on gods green earth I could see them surviving half the shit he does to them.

Anyways the idea of Nika being an antagonist typa character is one of my favorite ideas, my interpretation of villain Nika is him having a screwed idea of what true freedom means

Like he would think you cannot have true freedom if you have anything “holding you down” emotions, friendships and any other attachment, this apathetic way of thinking being caused by the fact he is a god having a very hard time understanding things the way a mortal can.

I could see a villain Nika being a foil to Luffy’s “you can’t do anything alone” way of thinking
