Mikami is late. They’ve been waiting in the Yellow Box Warehouse for hours and their guest of honor is late. With nothing else to do and no guarantee of when he’ll arrive, the task force and SPK all decide to go out and eat together at a nearby café. Light is certain this is all some trick, but in his defense, how could he have known to plan against a team lunch?!
AU where Light never picks up the notebook and goes on to join the NPA, eventually following in his father's footsteps as chief.
The first L has retired (which is a nice way of saying he's disappeared and no one can track him down), forcing his successor Near to take up the mantle.
Years later, the chief of the NPA is summoned by L to help track down a serial killer.
my conclusion from the end of the anime
these being my first two illustrations of the year is very amusing to me.
The only Death Note character that Adachi should ever be compared to is Matsuda no I will not elaborate thank you
Hey, is it just me, or did they completely cut the "YAHOO" song from this chapter? Like I'm pretty sure there was a twistune and the boys akwardly singing at the end, but there was nothing in the English version? What's up with that??
Hi! So uh like 5 years ago I read this fic on Wattpad and I'm trying to find it again. It was about Zutara and the premise was that Zuko kidnapped Katara and took her to his ship and some stuff happens and the story ends with them at some tournament at a city or something. The fanfic was incomplete and the author was planning to rewrite. I no longer have access to my old Wattpad account but I want to reread the nostalgic stories i read when I was younger. If anyone knows what the fanfic is called and how to find it, please tell me thank you <3
crack AU where L gets fed up with the task force complaining about him being chained to Light, snaps, and just brings in Near with the explanation that the issue is clearly that L is too old and Light should be supervised by someone within his age range. Cut to Light being absolutely livid for being demoted to a babysitter and getting chained to said baby (he doesn't know that Near is actually 13 and not like... 6. this also means he feels utterly insulted by L by calling Near "someone within Light's age range"). Fast forward a bit and Light and Near are actually getting along, which results in Watari overhearing L muttering "it should have been me..." more than once, with a depressed expression.
