Hi! So uh like 5 years ago I read this fic on Wattpad and I'm trying to find it again. It was about Zutara and the premise was that Zuko kidnapped Katara and took her to his ship and some stuff happens and the story ends with them at some tournament at a city or something. The fanfic was incomplete and the author was planning to rewrite. I no longer have access to my old Wattpad account but I want to reread the nostalgic stories i read when I was younger. Why does everyone on TikTok infantilize Near? Like omg they’re acting like this man is 5-7 years old! He’s 18/19 when Light gets caught, there’s no reason (especially after the timeskip) to think that he’s a child. It’s the fact that everyone is like “OMG LIgHt GOt bEaTEn bY a LiTtlE kID!!1!” And that they all think Meronia is some form of pedophilia because Near is “obviously a child” 🙄. Just because Mello appears older than Near he’s only older than him by like 2/3 years AT MOST! And when you try to tell them that you’re hit with “HES A CHILD” and just like NO! Just because YOU cannot think of him as anything other than a kid doesn’t mean that he is a kid.
