Why does everyone on TikTok infantilize Near? Like omg they’re acting like this man is 5-7 years old! He’s 18/19 when Light gets caught, there’s no reason (especially after the timeskip) to think that he’s a child. It’s the fact that everyone is like “OMG LIgHt GOt bEaTEn bY a LiTtlE kID!!1!” And that they all think Meronia is some form of pedophilia because Near is “obviously a child” 🙄. Just because Mello appears older than Near he’s only older than him by like 2/3 years AT MOST! And when you try to tell them that you’re hit with “HES A CHILD” and just like NO! Just because YOU cannot think of him as anything other than a kid doesn’t mean that he is a kid.
