CHAPTER ONE: The start of the end

May, 24, 2567 Canada, Edmonton 

Its was the last day of school and Lú was staring down the clock for it to sound so summer could officially start. Right as it went off She jumped out of her seat handing it my paper, rushing out of the classroom dragging August with herself. “Hey, hey what are you doing?!” Auggie screamed stumbling over other students almost falling over. 

“C’mon keep up! It’s officially summer and I wanna get out of here as soon as possible even- WAIT!” Lú suddenly stopped coming to a harsh halt. “We have to get Faye and Sola!” 

“Were already here” Sola said walking up to Lú and August with Faye at her side rambling about something. “Ah! There you guys are, I think Lú was going to drag me down…” “Well I would have went down with you” Lú tries to flirt but ends up failing miserably leaning in like she was asking for a kiss.

Auggie sighs. “Your lucky I love you” Auggie the. leans down to her girlfriends level to kiss her. Lú kisses back, the kiss felt familiar and tender as Lú almost slipped her tongue in August ripped her away before things got out of hand to quickly. 

“You two done yet?” Sola asked nonchalant shifting her body weight to one side causing Faye to almost fall over. “So! You all wanna head to my place I’m sure my mom wouldn’t mind.” Its was Faye that spoke up suggesting that they should get out of the empty hallway. 

“Yeah.. It’s probably best we should go.”

“So, Faye what do you think we should do since you’re the one that suggested we come over?” Auggie asked, she was positioned to be laying on her back with her head slightly hanging off the edge of the bed. Faue suddenly paused not expecting to be asked what they should all do especially considering doing something that everyone likes. “Well I was think-“ “Oh my gosh did you guys hear about Scarlett? She’s a total wreck right now.” 

Faye grunts in annoyance and only Sola notices and pit her hand on Faye’s shoulder to comfort them.
