Framing “girl” and “boy” as separate genders from “woman” and “man” is such an amazing take. it’s a framework that accommodates and explains so many trans experiences. Some trans people never were their AGAB. Some feel like they were their AGAB, but that that changed (usually when puberty hits, which is when you start “becoming a man/woman”. The accepted societal path is that girls grow up to into women, and boys grow up into men. But some girls grow up into men, and some boys grow up into women. This guy was a boy who grew up into a man, which generally works out pretty well for people. Some boys and girls grow up into people who aren’t men or women, even! It’s like this random cis guy skipped right over transgender 101, 102, 201, etc. and stumbled directly into Transgender Nirvana.

Trans problems that arent talked about enough

Not being able to bathe because your dysphoria is too bad. Not being able to wear a binder because of anxiety issues/sensory issues Not being able to grow body hair Your body hair is too noticeable Presenting as masculine and being 5'0 Presenting as feminine and being 6'3 Others using you as their *trans friend* in order to win an argument Being out to some but not to others Swimming. Seriously just fuck that. Gym class Transitioning during school Trying to get people to use nonbinary pronouns Standardized tests using sex and gender interchangeably People refusing to do research and expecting you to explain everything People mean mugging you when you shop in the clothing section that matches your gender People telling you to choose between your religion and your identity Coming out as gay before coming out as trans and trying to figure out what to call yourself Trying not to visibly cringe every time you get misgendered Being afraid to go home Being afraid to go to school Being afraid Doing dangerous things to attempt to alleviate dysphoria Not being able to look in the mirror Getting bashed by other trans people for not having dysphoria (yeah im lookin at you truscum) Not wanting to transition How to sex?? Trying to figure out your gender Society enforcing the gender binary like its some sort of law

tl;dr: do NOT buy this brand of flea medicine. always do research before buying any kind of medication for your animals.

my boyfriend bought this at petsmart for our cat and when we put it on her, she started licking it bc i guess i accidentally placed it too low and he got worried so we’ve been on google to find out if it’ll harm her. we found some scary stuff.

it doesn’t happen to every cat that this product is used on, but there are reports of this product seriously hurting cats. it burns their skin and can be very painful. the screenshots above are reviews from amazon for the one in the blue box. the one we used is the one in the purple box.

some cats had reactions right away while others took a few hours. we put this on our cat about an hour ago (washed it off of her soon after) and she seems fine but we’re so worried about what could happen. even if nothing happens, this is a chance we never would had taken if we’d known.

ALWAYS RESEARCH BEFOREHAND. i can’t believe petsmart has this on their shelves after everything people have said about it. please spread the word by sharing this post! protect ur pets. a simple google search could have stopped all these cats from getting hurt.
