Super Realism

Karuta time!

Starting today I’m going to be translating the Karuta Cards from Sinbad no Bouken. As always, this is an amateur translation. I’ll do them in sets by letters as they become available to me. First up the H set.

Ha- It is good to have the king form one leaf. は王誕生葉つぱ一枚あればいい。

Hi- Pipirika loves her sister-in-law and brother. ピピリカは義姉さん兄さん大好きだ。

Fu- Fatima is the head slave of Mariadel Company ファチマーはマリアデル商会の奴隷長。

He- Snake meat is a valuable food to eat. へびの肉貴重な食料召し上がって。

Ho- The truth is I really want to be friends. ほんとうは仲良くなりたいほんとだよ。

Note: The Karuta cards are all graciously passed to me by Sinbad-Ai. 

Imagine, If you will, a universe where instead of remaining positve, Yunan’s hope was broken by his suffering, he fell into depravity, and became evil. I took a base of Yunan from here and made several adjustements to it to make Yunan’s appearance if he were evil. Everything that’s not already in teh picture in the link, I did by hand.

Next set of Karuta Cards from Sinbad no Bouken. As always, this is an amateur translation. I’ll do them in sets by letters as they become available to me. This set will likely be the last set uploaded for some time. Today is the W set including N by itself.

Wa- I don’t understand... Timidly Unite Duo. わからない・・・　おっかなびっくり二人組。

Wo- Unidentified deep crimson pupils invoke mystery. 謎を呼ぶ正体不明の真紅の瞳。

N- “Adventures of Sinbad” Regards the future! シンドバッドの冒険これからもよろしく！

Then vs Now

Here we have on the left, the very first picture I had ever coloured, and on the right, a redo of it with all the lessons I learned in texture, shading, etc applied. I think it’s a good example of how far I’ve come from my start, and how much I’ve improved. I hope to continue improving.

I’m worth 48$. Wow... Surprising

These are past drawings, but I figured if I’m going to have a colouring section, might as well catch up first right~? Meet one of my RPing OC’s by the name of Cassia. I’m really proud of the shading and everything on this one. Textures. Also this was my first time doing white hair. The original line art can be found Here and is by utenaxchan on Deviant art. I don’t own the original work, just the inspirartion behind the character adn the colouring.

Morgan is a fruit fly. An art piece I did for a stream companion.

Last one from the old colourings. This is Blood Dupre and Elliot March from Wonderful Wonder World. Really alovely picture, and I’m quite proud of how it turned out in the end. The original artist for this is the series illustrator Hoshino Soumei. I don’t own anything but the inspiration to colour

Another old one. Honestly I don’t like this one, but I do like the colours of it. I really feel like I was lacking when it came to the boarder. The line art is by a AnotherYou on Deviant art. Unfortunately, they have since deleted their account, and cannot be linked back to directly. If someone knows any information on the original artist, please send it to me. In the meanwhile, here’s a photobucket version of the original lineart.

The Organisation XIII Calendar

The idea was that Xigbar was taking pictures of people, so I tried to get natural poses. Some were willing, some less so, others without knowing their picture was taken. The images weren't all taken in the order presented as Xigbar's was definitely taken after Xaldin's. I tried to have a unique pose in each picture so that I could challenge myself with angles, textures, and perspectives. They were all drawn on the same size paper with the same portrait layout. Please do not repost elsewhere. I listed it as mature due to a few risque drawings, though nothing is exposed.
