Yeah so I wake up and my mom's like "oh come see my new screensaver on the tv :3" and I look at it and I'm like "yeah!! that's so cool" but then I'm staring at it and it all falls apart in my vision and I realize it's AI generated... I was kinda suspicious at first and then I see the shitty nonsensical architexture... and the two identical christmas trees on each side of the room.... and snow INSIDE OF THE GODDAMN HOUSE and I'm explaining to my mom that it's not real and it's making me uncomfortable and then she gaslights me that the picture has been around since I was 12 years old and I try and explain what's wrong with it further aaaaaaaaand the convo just ends with her telling me "you ruin everything". And no she didn't say it jokingly :) she fucking meant it. All bc I was worried she accidentally bought me an AI-generated wall decoration on my birthday lololol well shit sorry I don't want you falling for a fucking scam by shitty, shady people who are probably using the same technology for generating porn of their peers without their consent ^w^ but oh well, whatever sorry for looking out for you... the same way you looked out for me all these years... it's the least I can do and you treat me like this for it. ^^^ I second this. As someone who's admittedly a little too ok with sharing their F/Os, I think clumping all people who are nonsharing and demonizing them is not the way to go here. Being a nonsharer does not inherently make you bad or annoying, you are allowed to feel pain and discomfort over sharing. As long as you do not actively harrass and attack other users you are allowed to feel how you feel, express yourselves, and vent about your emotions.

"Well, why can't I vent over nonsharers? Aren't I allowed to feel bothered too?" You don't understand, it's more than just "bothered". It's painful. For many, the idea or image of their f/o with someone other than themselves gives them a deep personal pain. Thats why people vent, because of the pain. Does the existence of nonsharers give you a deep personal pain, or is it just annoyance? Either way, consider blocking, moving on, and keep the complaints about them to yourself. It's healthier for everyone involved.
