So! For the first few weeks after his accident, whenever Danny would try to help the people of Amity Park, he would be treated as a Villain.
No matter if he had just defeated the Big Bad of the Week or saved a Cat from a tree, everybody in town only saw him as a Monster or Villain to he feared and hunted down. Danny was really getting sick of trying to get them on his side, until Sam made a suggestion.
"Why not just...play into it?" She said, barely looking up from painting her nails.
It was just an offhand suggestion, but it stuck with Danny. Why shouldn't he lean into it? The people of Amity Park already saw Ghosts as Evil, and they already assumed he was in cahoots with the Ghosts attacking the town. Why shouldn't he just...play into it?
So he does just that.
From that day on, whenever Phantom was spotted he would dramatically monologue about his Evil Plans, or claim that another Rogues attack on the City was his own act of terror.
Box Ghost destroys the towns Warehouses? It was on his orders.
Ember mind controls masses of Teenagers? All part of his Plans somehow.
Every Adult in Town is kidnapped by Young Blood? Danny gave them over to a friend as a Gift.
He crafts an identity for himself as the most Vile and Horrible Ghost that has ever attacked the City, using his own infamy to cement his legend even more firmly. The town only sees a Monsterous Villain, who has eveded capture near effortlessly for months on end, who constantly attacks their City and gets away with it.
Of course he still needs an excuse for how his plans keep getting stopped, and he gets it when his girlfriend Valerie becomes the Red Huntress. Before that, he just claimed infighting or the Fentons getting lucky, but Valerie becoming the Town's Hero meant he had a plausible excuse for how he kept getting "Foiled".
Val was suspicious, because she was not as involved as Phantom painted her to be, but in the end she had no proof of him faking his defeats. And she couldn't come up with any explanations for why he would do that in the first place. I mean, who would fake being a Supervillain? It had to he something else.
This did come back to bite him a while later, when the Justice League decided that enough was enough, and dispatched Justice League Dark to recruit Red Huntress and help Deal with him.
Coincidentally, that was the same day Pariah Dark attacked the Mortal Realm and sucked Amity Park into the Ghost Zone.
And honestly? Danny had spent over a Year proclaiming himself as a Villain who commanded Ghosts to attack the Human Realm, and he had heard about the Right of Conquest being Absolute in the Ghost Zone, so why not make it official? Why not overthrow the Ghost King, become the Ghost King, and cement his identity as a Villain while also forbidding Ghosts from entering the Human Realm without his permission?
He may have gotten a bit carried away and forgotten that the Villain thing was a disguise...but hey! He was still preventing Ghost Attacks! ...mostly. That's got to count for something right?
He may have let the Bit run a bit too far...

Au where Jason and Danny are attending the same college course on mythology and classical literature and they are always getting into debates about the depictions of the characters and the historical context of stories and stuff bc the both have a different exposure to the myths. Like Jason knows literal demigods and Amazons but Danny knows Pandora and the Greek myth related ghosts plus time travel from Clockwork and the infi-map. The debates can get heated at times but the respect each others intellectual takes.
This creates a peculiar situation where everyone in the class thinks they are academic rivals who hate each other (except for the few with their shipping goggles on and sense the homoerotic tension underlying their debates) and are deeply invested in watching them interact like their own personal drama even thought at this point in time they are at best friendly acquaintances and at worst annoying classmates.
Jason rants to his family about his debate partner/rival bc he’s happy to have some who will talk to him ad-nauseam abt this stuff but also bc he wants to complain about how Danny's a “smart but annoying little twink who’s got some real audacity”. And while the batfam is happy that Jason is experiencing some normal life things like an academic frenemy they’d love to stop hearing about this guy's “smug fucking smirk” and the “annoying gleam in his eyes". They are worried that Jason will snap and beat this guy up for being too annoying. Well, except Tim who thinks Jason would rather make out with this guy than debate with him.
One day the course decides to do a big themed party/fundraiser to save up for a class trip to an excavation site of some temple ruins or something. Both of them volunteer for the organizing committee bc of the offered extra credit. This encourages the two of them to start seeing each other more and to hang out outside of their classes so the can work on event planning. Over time they actually become pretty good friends (Danny's presence filters Jason's toxic ecto and cures pit rage due to increased exposure. It was happening anyways as classmates but the close proximity sped up the process) and Jason and Danny develop mutual crushes on each other.
For the event they do, like an Olympic games style format and have people sign up in teams for events a couple of weeks beforehand. Anyone in any sort of classical/mythology related course can join and they opened the event for public spectating. They have a few traditional events like a foot race, long jump and chariot race. But the also have some silly ones like Medusa's Snakes, where they shove their faces into bowls of whipped cream and fish out gummy worms, Pandora's Amphora, where they stick there hands into a box/jar of mystery contents (grapes, slime, a live animal like rats or kittens, a bunch of glitter, soda, etc.) and whoever keeps their hand in the longest wins, and Gladiator Fights, where they try to knock each other into a foam pit with those foam and rubber jousting sticks and the such.
Neither Danny, nor Jason want to participate for fear of their physical/supernatural abilities being discovered so the both get talked into doing the emceeing and commentary for the events. They make a really good duo, snarking and bantering with each other, playing off each other's energy and providing fun commentary to the events. Everyone, including the batfam who came to spectate, is a bit baffled by how well they are getting along bc last they checked these two were rivals of a sort, mildly annoying at best and actively antagonistic at worst. However, they really seem to be enjoying themselves.
The last event of the day is a trivia contest, which they both decide to take part in and let someone else take over the emceeing. The final winning trivia question is "what trope was falsely understood as a marriage proposal or declaration of love by misinformed media, that was actually closer to a ploy of seduction and indication of sexual desire according to Greek texts" and the both ring in at the same time to say "tossing an apple to someone" and an tie for the win. They both go up on stage to receive the prize (idk a gift card or smth) and shake hands before walking away in opposite directions.
Then suddenly Danny calls out to Jason just before he leaves the stage and chucks an apple he seemingly produced out of nowhere at him. The apple has a note with the time and date of a dinner reservation on it and when Jason looks back up at Danny he see the slightly flushed boy tentatively smiling at him.
" What do ya say Jase? Will you go out with me?"
And instead of replying Jason just straight up kisses him in front of everyone. Everyone else is gobsmacked by this whole turn of events except Tim who's cackling his head off, screaming "I FUCKING KNEW IT". When the two of them break apart they grin at each other widely and Jason drags Danny of the stage presumably to go make out somewhere.
Imagine dis…
What if Daniella “Danny” Fenton has a former past and name that goes by Delilah Rose Wayne?
Delilah is nothing more than a sweet and happy girl who was showered with love from his older brothers, father, and grandfather. She is the apple of their eye as she lights up the room with her giggles and laughs. Her eyes twinkle and sparkle at any mention of space and stars, and wished to go to space and discover planets and life.
Richard “Dick” Grayson, the one who made sure that she felt cared for. He was there to keep her company, willing to paint his nails for her, willing to do acrobatic flips to impress her and listen to her rambling about her obsession with stars.
Jason Peter Todd, the one who made sure she has someone on her back. He was there to protect her from a simple stray dog to people who wishes her harm. He often managed to drag her into mischief like stealing a few cookies before dinner or even making a mess at the Wayne manor garden.
Alfred Pennyworth, the one who made her warm meals. He was there when it is mealtime. The loved each dish, she felt as if her grandfather made such a dish just for her and her family. She would help Alfred prepare some dishes as well as prepare tea for her father. The grandfather’s warmth with each smile felt like she was in front of a fireplace holding a cup of her favorite cocoa.
Finally, her father, Bruce Wayne, was her knight in dark armor in the midst of chaos and darkness. Who played with her with a Batman costume that was bought from a dollar store somewhere? Who gave her life and made her the princess of the Wayne manor. Who read her favorite stories each bedtime after a kiss on her forehead. Who made sure that she felt precious and held her like an expensive pearl.
But those are nothing but stories from the past.
Like all of us we learn someday, that fairy tales are nothing but pure fantasy.
There is no prince charming that can swoop you up and save you from the monstrous dragon. There is no knight in shining armor who promised their loyalty and protection to you. You also live to learn that there is no happily ever after.
At the age of 6, she was told to change her name to Daniela for her safety and was shipped off to Amity park for her protection against rouges who wishes harm to the Wayne family and Batman. They wished for her normality and innocence would stay intact, thus shipping her off but promising to come to get her back after a few days.
She learned that promises tend to be broken.
She knew her father and brothers’ nightly activity, loving them for protecting the such dreary city as home but also worrying and caring for them as every time they go out in the night danger lurks in the shadows. So she was patient, waiting day after day after day for her brothers, father, and grandfather for her by the window still.
Days turned into months and turned into years with no family in sight.
There are no brothers who would protect her from bullies. There is no father who would tuck her in for the night, but a large strange couple proclaims themselves as her parents even though her foster sister Jazz is more of a parent than a sister to her. There is no grandfather in sight but a weird man whom he calls her godfather.
But our story doesn’t end there.
Like every princess who lost hope on top of the stone tower, she rescued herself.
After the accident leading to her being both alive and dead at the same time, she carved her own destiny. She swore fate up above that she wouldn’t let this sit by.
Being a hero in a small part of the US patch of land where ghosts, GIW and Vlad are all after her head.
…
At 16 she made a decision, to destroy all things that are to harm her people.
She may be half human but her people come first and the people who called her family. Namely, Frostbite, Pandora, and Clockwork.
Destroying each government base leaving only ashes, hacking and releasing each database that contains their research with the help of Technus, destroying each technology and weapon the Fenton’s have made including the artificial portal down the basement, getting Nocturn to erase their memories on the fact that they are ecto-biologists and erase the memories of her friends.
Her human friends wouldn’t understand the weight of the crown on her head while the one who had raised her had laid down her life for her to escape the clutches of their own parents. Preparing contingencies in case another case of the Pariah Dark ever happen again.
She is her father’s daughter.
Random natural portals are caused by the imbalance of the realms. When she fixed the problem not only the citizens of the Infinite Realms are more than happy to have the balanced fixed.
Her entire being is the Infinite Realms herself.
Danny became a workaholic to avoid future aches in her core. Her former family living their best lives with her is out of the picture.
How is that fair? Am I not enough?
Seeing the smile her father gave to those he adopted.
How?!?!
Seeing the fond look that was given to her and only her to a SON
Is that it!!! Is it I am not a boy?
It was obvious that they have forgotten about her.
“That terrible feeling that you’re being replaced and there is nothing you can do to stop it.”
If they have replaced her then she can also replace them.
The observers as a grumpy tsundere grandfather, Clockwork a father she never thought she had, Pandora a mother who made her strong so that she could protect herself from the dangers of men, Frostbite an uncle who cared for her mental and physical being, and Dan a big brother who solemnly became her knight and brother alongside Fright Night to scare away the horrors she faced in the hands of her “families” Her former rouges as another figure in her life.
She was satisfied.
…
Danny is always drowned in paperwork Ember and Kitty had a great idea to start a band in the human realm. This was supported by all the adult figures in her life seeing that she neglected her human half.
Danny went along with it as long they won’t cause trouble like hypnotizing the audience, causing trouble…etc.
Johnny 13, Shadow and Shulker as their bodyguards, and Walker as their manager.
They had created the band Massacre Trio, in which they created songs about their life before the afterlife.
As for their stage outfits and names both Kitty and Ember stayed in their ghost forms and turn into their human forms when they are out enjoying teen things while Danny wore a skull that covers half top of her face and was given the stage name Shade, she wore a hard gothic style that had a bit of tech on her in memory of her life before the afterlife.
…
Timothy Drake became a fan after hearing one song as well as rest of the world.
At first, they were just creating songs and posting them on Vtube the next thing they know they are already performing on live stages.
Danny felt to be free, without the expectation of you being the King, without the care in the world about her family nor doesn’t care about the fact that this realm is where her ‘family’ lived but at that moment she lived for applause.
What she didn’t take into account are her ever-growing powers.
…
Tim forced the rest family to watch a live feed in their family living room as a family bonding, as it is also the day Shade reveals her face to the world.
The moment Tim opened the TV all four members were hit with nostalgia with the person wearing a skull singing her heart out in their new song.
(Danny never realized that whenever she sang with her heart it takes effect on those who heard her sing by being happy or crying their hearts out as her powers and core amplify her voice)
Oh, father
Please, father
I’d love to leave you alone
But I can’t let you go
Oh, father
Please, father
Put the bottle down
For the love of a daughter
Don’t you remember, I’m your baby girl?
How could you push me out of your world?
Lied to your flesh and your blood
Put your hands on the ones
That you swore you loved
Don’t you remember, I’m your baby girl?
How could you throw me right out of your world?
So young when the pain had begun
Now forever afraid of being loved
The moment she removed her mask all four of them felt like the air was leaving their lungs.
That is Delilah…
That is my daughter…
That is my sister…
How?!?!!?
Now the Batfam are now scrambling to get to their missing piece while in the shadows Ra is looking at the female Wayne with both curiosity and disbelief all while Danny’s past is slowly catching up to her.
But do not worry her family of clan is right behind her refusing to part with her.
PS: If someone out there wanting to continue or make a fic about this you are free to do so don’t forget to tag me though.
I would like to clarify two al Ghul family members that people often seem to mix up:
Nyssa Raatko, also known as Nyssa al Ghul: daughter of Ra’s al Ghul, older half sister to Talia. She figured out how to make Lazarus Pits reusable, and she killed Ra’s in Batman: Death and the Maidens, then took over the League of Assassins for a while.
Nyssa in Batgirl Vol. 1 #68
Daughter of Acheron: Ra’s al Ghul’s half sister, Talia and Nyssa’s half-aunt. She’s the one Ra’s sent to attempt to get pregnant from Tim in Red Robin. We don’t know much about her, but she is decidedly NOT Nyssa.
Daughter of Acheron in Red Robin #24

Jack Fenton, dialed his younger sister's phone number as he gazed apologetically at the family of bats, that was hanging around in his living room. he impatiently waited for the other party to pick up.
The Bat family remained stoic as they observed the man, they had or Batman had ordered to put the call on speaker, if ever the phone was answered, Robin had stared at the doorway leading to the kitchen there stood Jack's supposed oldest daughter Jazz. who only stared amused at her father's antics much to Robin's confusion.
finally after a grueling 10 seconds wait, the call was finally answered.
Robin held his breath awaiting for the voice he was expecting for.
"Yes, Ahki?" Talia's voice resonated, from the phone. making everyone's eyes except the Fenton family widen.
'what? mother never told me she had a brother.' Damian thought as he took a peek at his father's face who was scrunched up in confusion. same for the rest of his family.
"Talia, my dear ukht, I've heard from a few birds and bats that you have taken my son. on his fieldtrip." Jack said, his nervous and outgoing personality vanishing and what took place was a serious and angry tone of a father as soon as heard the caller's voice, making everyone in the room shudder at the sudden cold atmosphere while the oldest daughter remained composed and unbothered as she watched.
Silence came from the other side of the phone, before answering "It seems i have." Talia answered back, you can here the voice of a boy in the background asking if it was his dad.
"Stop with this false innocence of yours, bring my son back immediately, partly alive and safe." Jack stated, much to the Bats and birds confusion.
Silence once again, as the phone remained quiet seemingly put down on a table with a few whispers and shuffling. before it was picked up once again.
"Nu uh." was the only thing Talia said as she hang up.
everyone paused.
"The fuck you mean 'Nu uh'?!" Jack yelled, at his phone. While his wife walked their daughter's side who was laughing her ass off, confused she looked at the bats then at her husband and then just sighed.
"Dinner's Ready." she only said as she retreated back at to the kitchen.
"As you can see, I would be a fantastic sidekick. I have also made a power point."
Apparently, the little Birdie and Bruce had gotten into a fight, and this was Tim's version of acting out.
PART 1 PART 2 PART 3 PART 4
Alright, but what happened on Danny’s end? Why is he in Gotham?
Looking for a way to get rid of all ghosts Jack and Maddie start to officially work for the G.I.W.
While diving into the portal with the Specter Speeder, Maddie, Jack and two G.I.W. agents find the Sarcophagus of forever Sleep (which wasn’t easy at all since they had to sort a lot of traps before reaching the room where they found the sarcophagus).
Thinking that the sarcophagus was a sort of weapon for ghosts (because why else would they put the sarcophagus somewhere so far and hidden) they take it back to the living realm and start to study it to use it to finally completely exterminate all the ghosts in the ghost zone.
The reason why neither Danny or Jazz noted any of this was because Jazz was with his class in a school trip to check out the different colleges they could attend and Danny was in a field trip with his class to Yellowstone.
Unsurprisingly, all goes to hell. The G.I.W. manage to completely open the sarcophagus right when Danny and Jazz come back from their respective trips. Taken by surprise, Danny ends up extremely injured in his second fight against Pariah Dark, this time with a lot of casualties, Jazz, Sam, Tucker and Val die, their liminal souls absorbed by Pariah Dark, and Jack and Maddie in a desperate intent to destroy the monster that came out from the sarcophagus overheat the portal. Danny is weakened and sad and so tired, so he transforms in front of his parents as he faints when they tried to also destroy Phantom, when they see their unconscious son where their sworn enemy used to stand, they completely loose it and as the portal explodes Maddie and Jack are frozen middle shot.
Clockwork stops time micro seconds before the energy blasts hits Danny (who has once again defeated Pariah Dark in combat and this time his anger made him consume PD’s core, this way completely erasing him from the face of every realm, not even the Void could reclaim PD before Danny ended him). And as the home realm of Danny Fenton is completely obliterated by the explosion the Fenton portal creates (all souls in the realm immediately turning into the most primal form of ectoplasm and returning to the Void), Clockworks carry Danny away to safety.
While Danny is in a pseudo comma while his core assimilates PD’s powers, Clockwork has an emergency meeting with the observants where the general consensus is that now Clockwork, Pandora and Frostbite are the young king’s official caretakers.
Pandora and Frostbite insist that Danny still needs to continue his mortal life so he can develop a stable mindset and find closure.
Lady Gotham offers her city as sanctuary for the young king, saying that her knights would be good friends for him.
Clockwork has the last word; he accepts lady Gotham’s proposal and with Ghost Writer and Technus’s help they create a new identity for Danny… and if Clockwork decided to join his ward for bit and have a taste of normal, human life, well, it’s not like they can actually stop him.
When Danny regains consciousness Dani hugs him and cries with him… they cry for a whole week.
He befriends Damian after they both stab each other in the hand with a pen because they both thought that the other was a bully.
Danny is very grateful for Damian who is funny and patient and listens and that is a little bit messed up in the head but that only adds to his charm.
Oh, Danny definitely knows that the Waynes are the Bats but Not his zoo, not his animals. Besides, he is now a retired vigilante.
Danny still does help in whatever way he can though. He is known as fix it Danny in his current neighborhood. Adults take their appliances to him for fixing, children and teens take their toys, skateboards, bicycles and roller-skates to him for fixing. All for the very cheap price of junk food (usually cookies, brownies and cupcakes, one time a bunch of kids gave him a jumbo-sized bag of sour gummy worms for him to fix their go-cart).
Danny doesn’t know that Damian takes pictures of him when he is distracted.
Danny doesn’t have a crush on Damian… he just thinks he is pretty and funny and intelligent and handsome and his eyes are so pretty and his accent is so sexy (he really likes the way Damian says his name, sounds like Danyal instead of Daniel and it’s just so ugh!), and he is so artistic and he has a cow! (as you can see, Danny is clearly in denial)
Clockwork approves.
Danny does use his powers while in Gotham. He uses his invisibility and other powers to sometimes patrol around the neighborhood (Danny: it’s not vigilantism, Clockwork, I’m just a concerned neighbor!).
“who’s the top??” “who’s the bottom?” “blank is such a bottom-“ “so and so is taller so they’re the top-“ listen guys. it’s whichever one has a harder time being vulnerable. that’s the bottom
Tgswiwagaa x Klance!
Turns out the girl he was into wasn't a girl at all (it was in fact his classmate Keith kogane)
Klance as mitsuaya bc I love them hehe....
i just think theyre neat ..
