Heh heh... I think I’m a bit late with day one (nevermind the other days), but I will do this!

So anyways, hope you all enjoy!

Day 1 - New Year’s Eve

It was the day Nejire had waited for; butterflies fluttered around in her stomach, and she didn’t know if she was feeling fear or excitement.

Her crush, Melissa, the next David Sheild, told her that fear and excitement are the same thing, only ececpt fear makes one uneasy and think irrationally, while excitement makes one happy and think rationally. Nejire tried to stop thinking, this was too much for her brain.

Not the explanation, but Melissa.

She couldn’t get her out of her head. What would she say if she told her that she liked her? Intelligent girls such as Melissa know better than to commit to a relationship with someone like Nejire, only except, her fellow insecurity insured her that.

But the only way to find out what happens would be to tell her tonight - tonight at the New Year’s Eve party.

“You okay, Nejire?”

Nejire perked up and nodded, “don’t worry about me, Tamaki,” she put her usual, eccentric smile on, “I’m just really excited!”

“Do you think Melissa’s going to be there?” Mirio joined in the conversation.

“I hope so,” began Tamaki, “I like her a lot. She likes animals just as much as I do.”

“She’s David Shield’s daughter, after all, she has to know everything,” the taxi they were settled in slowed to a stop.

“Your destination,” smiled the taxi driver, “have fun at the party, kids.”

They paid the man, then turned to face the building, which at this point was exploding with lights and loud noise. Tamaki turned his back to it.

“I regret coming here,” he pouted.

“Aw, c’mon, Tamaki! Remember Melissa?” Nejire smiled encouragingly at her friend.

“You guys came!”

Nejire turned back around to be bombarded with a bone-breaking hug.

“M-Melissa!” She hugged her back warmly, remember, you need to confess. Just get it done and other with.

“It’s so great to see you!” Mirio hugged her too.

“Same goes for all of you! For a minute, I thought you all weren’t coming.”

“W-we’d n-never ditch you,” squeaked Tamaki, also getting a hug.

“Aw, you guys are so sweet!” Nejire’s organs did backflips in reaction to Melissa’s lush smile. “Anyways, come on in!” Melissa guided the three to the entrance.

“Let’s have some fun.”

MeiLissa Week - Day 1

Day 1 - Experiment Gone Wrong

“Hey, Lisaaaaaaaa?”

Lowering her laptop screen, Melissa looked up to see her girlfriend, Mei, staring at her with puppy eyes.

“What is it?” She asked. Mei handed Melissa her goggles and smiled.

“I accidentally broke my goggles.”

Melissa looked at the goggles; the glass was shattered, and the rubber that was around the glass part was thoroughly burnt. Melissa leaned over to her desk drawer and opened it. “Don’t worry, you know I come prepared.” Melissa handed Mei a brand new pair of goggles.

“Wow! I can always count on you!” Mei hurriedly put the goggles on, “the lenses are so clean!”

Melissa smiled, “I’m glad you like them.”

“Thanks, Lissa!” Mei leaned over the desk and planted a kiss on Melissa’s cheek. “Love you!”

Melissa gave a small smile, “love you too.”

KiriSetsu Week - Day 2!!

Day 2 - Heartbeat

“Kiri, do you hear that?” Setsuna’s face became plastered with worry as she held her boyfriend’s hand tighter.

“Don’t worry, babe, I’m sure it’s just an animal.”

“But-”

There was another scurrying sound again, but was quickly followed with a crash of metal cans and a soft yelp.

“It’s coming from over there!” Setsuna let go of Kirishima’s hand.

“Setsu, wait!” But it was no use; Setsuna had already ran to a wad of dumpsters and crouched down for a better look. There was sympathy in her eyes.

“Kiri, come look!” Kirishima walked to his girlfriend and looked to where she was pointing. A small puppy cowered underneath heaps of trash. “The poor thing! We need to help it!”

“Setsu,” Kirishima wanted to protest; there was no way they’d be able to handle a puppy. Even if it were a well behaved one, puppies were pricey, and with all the hero work they both had in their daily lives gave up no time for taking care of a puppy. But he knew that his girlfriend wouldn’t take no for an answer, so much that she’d work her way around it...

Kirishima then made up his mind. “Setsuna-”

And at that point, he took too long. Setsuna was already holding the puppy as if it were her own child. It was a white collie pup with black and beige spots, and with bright blue eyes...

Yes, it was adorable. But Kirishima knew that he had to tell Setsuna sooner or later.

“Kiri, come feel it’s heartbeat!” Setsuna held her hand on the puppy’s chest. Kirishima placed his hand on the pup’s warm fur and felt it’s heart race.

Ba-dum! Ba-dum! Ba-dum!

Kirishima sighed, the poor thing was quite frightened...

Fine. They could only keep it for a few nights. Then, they’ll make up their minds on what to do with it.

But not so long afterwards, when Setsuna and Kiri got to their apartment, Setsuna wasn’t the only one rubbing the pup’s belly...

Day 2 - Heartbeat

"Can we go back?"

"This isn't even scary."

"Setsuna, you're literally shaking."

“Says you.”

Manga gripped Setsuna's arm tightly, the floor creaking below their feet as they walked made his heart beat even faster. The wait for a jumpscare was more terrifying than the actual scare...

"Oh, come one, Manga! There's nothing to be afraid of-"

A man with a bloody mask and a chainsaw was all they needed to see to end up bolting down the haunted house corridor.

"I hate this! I take back everything I said about there being nothing to be afraid of!"

"Sestu! I see a light!"

And with the literal scare of their lives, they made it to safety; where there was sunshine, clouds and bustling crowds of a theme park.

Manga touched Setsuna's neck and felt her pulse: ba-dum! Ba-dum! Ba-dum!

“Your heart beating really fast...”

Setsuna smiled wryly, "want to go on the ferris wheel?"

Manga's heart beated hard against his chest. "Actually, I was thinking we go somewhere else." The two began walking.

"Oh? Where?"

Ba-dum! Ba-dum! Ba-dum!

Manga soon realized that it wasn't the jumpscare that made his heart beat so fast...

"The tunnel of love, maybe?"
