Yes. You. You get it.
However, to get a little introspective for funsies, Senkuu only kind of follows the government law?
(Spoilers for Dr. Stone ahead! No outright plot stuff, but beware!)
To lay the ground work, he doesn’t explicitly defy laws in canon. But some of his actions definitely lean on the illegal side, with the rocket launches, electrocuting of his bullies, and his personal use of school equipment. Here he leans against the law.
In the stone world, he abides by general laws like “don’t kill people” and “no war crimes” and “don’t euthanize people”. That kind of thing. He also mentions reconstructing a legal system at some point? I might be misremembering, but I think he wanted to keep Hyoga and Homura in prision until they remake the legal system and give them a trial, which is very lawful of him, and actually pushes for the opposite argument of him diligently following the law.
However!
To go more into my personal characterization, speculation, and knowledge of fandom head canons; if Senkuu were to encounter a law he thought was unjust, would most likely ignore it or outright try to break it. He wouldn’t follow someone or something just because they’re powerful! He’d follow whatever he believes is morally just and supported by science.
So in a setting where he is forced to follow those rules, like the modern day, then yes he would take those rules to their extreme to mess with people, because he is very chaotic. But most if not all of Dr. stone takes place in a setting where those rules don’t necessarily apply, so why would he have to find loopholes?
I guess what I’m trying to say is that in the Modern World, where Senkuu is not an influential person, he would follow the law but to ridiculous extremes or break it as he feels morally obligated. But in the Stone World where he is basically the president/head of civilization(which is a whole other can of worms I would love to get into another time) he doesn’t need to follow laws he sees as unjust, he can just change them.
For context: I was originally thinking of this meme in terms of Stone World logic bc of his relation to Gen, so I was a little confused when thinking about it that way. Goes to show how much settings can impact a character!
Final note: I completely agree with this meme and I appreciate the creator for their genius. it’s very accurate for both guys. I just like to yap. Thank you for the yap time.
Also they’re gay
*mic drop*
Your honor they're homosexuals
I’m glad I haven’t accidentally spoiled anything- I don’t think I’ve said much past Treasure Island. Are you excited for the season in Jan? I’m very excited to see how they translate it, and what they cut/add.
I’m a little nervous bc I heard this is the final season they’re making, but there’s a lot more arcs ahead, so idk if they’re going to rush it or just cut it off or what.
Spoilers for all of Anime, as well as vague descriptions of later arcs
I def agree, Senkuu is the best leader shown in Dr. Stone and he does work well bc he’s science focused and most of civilization is also science focused. (Trying to avoid spoilers) Later in the story they encounter a group of people who directly oppose most of their values, a have to work with them. About here is when I would exchange Senkuu’s leadership with the 5 Generals, as things become more complicated.
It would be very funny to have an episode where Senkuu has to drop all the science and craft a legal system lmao.
I agree that Hyoga fighting Moz instead of Senkuu is evidence Hyoga supports women(idk that sentence is so funny. Hyoga supports women’s rights and women’s wrongs). To delve into more character stuff, I think this moment could also be tied to Hyoga’s interest in “incredible people.” He wanted to keep most people in stone and only revive petrified people who possess extraordinary skills, to create like a super powerful human race. In this situation, it’s either help Senkuu, who he says himself is on his level, or Moz, a strong enough guy but lacking awareness and also hates women. Hyoga chooses to help Senkuu as 1. He has that interest in Senkuu, and 2. Disagrees with Moz, thinking he is not an “incredible person.”
I totally agree with you, I just wanted to delve into his character, which I rarely get to do bc I don’t like him lol.
It’s totally cool that you’re an anime only watcher! I myself have read all the manga because I hyperfixated and needed to know what happened next IMMEDIATELY lmao. I actually prefer watching the anime, as having the characters audibly read their lines lets me focus more on the art and story beats, which is harder while reading. I’ll do my best to avoid manga spoilers!
For my next question… Who is your favorite character and why? Doesn’t have to be a complex reason, it could just be a feeling.
*eats a chip and hands both back to you*

Dr. Stone NEW WORLD ed: Where Do We Go? - OKAMOTO
And possibly some crucifixion symbolism. Gotta love symbolism so ambiguous you can barely see it.
Okay, he did have a few seconds of moral dilemma.
OMG I love that that sounds amazing. Please please please write this/bf I would read the crap out of that
Blind senku au
Got so bored yesterday and spent way too long colouring a manga panel. He makes me ill and rabid and some secret third thing that my brain won't even disclose to itself
Love this
Song Inspo: Loosely based on Obsessed by Olivia Rodrigo
A/n: I just wanted to write this idea out but anyone is welcome to expand on it!
After Senku agrees to be Luna's boyfriend, Luna is at Bar Francois complaining about how nothing has changed.
"Because obviously nobody'd ever be that outta line...right?"
Luna learns that Senku is that outta line. Leaning how he got married for the sake of science and even being a divorcé.
But it's what Yuzuriha says that Luna's obsession begins with you.
"It also doesn't help that he's fresh out of a relationship as well..."
Suddenly Luna is trying to wring as much information out of them.
Learning your name, how you look, how'd you met Senku, how long you were dating, but what she couldn't figure out is why the both of you split. Which of the two broke things off? She begins her investigation.
Suddenly she looking at the passengers of the ship and trying to figure out which one of them is you.
It doesn't take much because there you were standing beside Senku.
She spys on you both. Watching as you joke with each other, the distance between the two of you becoming non-exsistent.
How is that you got this version of Senku? Why isn't he likes this with her?
How do you get him to touch you so casually? His hands lingering on your back while you show him blue prints of your newest creation. There was no space between the two of you.
How do you get him to be so vulnerable. A soft smile as he listens to you. Complimenting your mind and your ideas.
Why did the two of you break things off when it's clear you still love each other?
Her attention is now on you. She begins to follow you. Studies you. Learns more about you. Wrings more information from your friends. Why you and not her?
Basically through Luna's perspective she notices that you two never moved on from each other.
So it’s more of reverting the organism to its previous state? That makes more sense thanks :)
so if ur transmasc and u got top surgery. and also u exist in the world of dr stone. then when the petrification wave happens and u get petrified and subsequently revived: do the top surgery scars vanish?
His hair was gorgeous this ep I loved it. That one shot of his head from behind with his hair like a star was💥💥💥
In this new world, we have to make our own rules!
The funniest bit in Doctor Stone is still Senku insinuating that another male character has feelings for him to make fun of them but never being homophobic while doing so
"oooh you want to kiss me soo bad well too bad I only like science."
