More Inktober 2019 drawings! And I also want to show you guys more concept art of my project "模玩，齿轮和鱼 Models, Gears and Fish", like things about my original characters and environments. (I have posted these to other platforms. I realise that I want to be more active here as well. )

The picture above: The black one is 研仔 Little Yan. And the little fish-like creature is 萌萌 Meadow Meng.

Little Yan is probably quite good at disguising and using the benefits of illusions. He might be able to shapeshift.

The human here is a possible design for Bella (Bella Bear). She was originally a DP OC (a haunted doll okay). But I suppose she can be a human character in my original project.

🤔I have drawn some turtles in August, 2020. I think I finally want to post my drawings. I realized that the scientific names should be in italics, but I won't change the drawings. 😂😂😂

鼋 Cantor's giant softshell turtle/ Asian giant softshell turtle (Pelochelys cantorii). The species is classified as endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. The brown ones are babies.

斑鳖 Swinhoe's softshell turtle/ Yangtze giant softshell turtle (Rafetus swinhoei). The species is classified as critically endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. At the moment, there are four living individuals known.

It wasn't easy for me to find reference photos of the species or draw the unique patterns. 🤔

玳瑁 hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata). The species is classified as critically endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. 😩 I made some mistakes when I drew the hawksbill sea turtle, and later I redrew the scutes after realizing the mistakes. I also changed the patterns on the hawksbill's beak.

Hmm, I think I might not be allowed to share the illustrations that I drew for the book about animal rescue with people on social media platforms (🤔at least not yet? I am not very sure about it… ). Those drawings were drawn in October, 2020, and in November, 2020, and they actually look pretty similar to these ones. I have some other drawings as well as some stories to post anyway. 😂😂😂 I am working on some projects and it's tiring. I write and draw my stories, so it can be exhausting in some ways. I plan to draw some more species and I have already illustrated a few pictures. It's likely that I will share some of my new art with you guys. 🤔🤔🤔

褐马鸡 brown eared pheasant (Crossoptilon mantchuricum). The species is evaluated as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

This is a girl. The red area on her face is bare skin instead of feathers. The adults of eared pheasants are very similar in plumage, while there are obvious differences between the female individuals and the male individuals of lots of species belonging to the family Phasianidae. I might try to draw babies/ children later. 🤔

My friend said that the character's tail can be bigger, and I think he has a point, so I will try to design some pretty different ones in the future.

It took me about six hours to design and draw this. I spent about 30 minutes working on the watermark stuff (so it took me about 6.5 hours in this case).

Unfortunately, for some reason, I was NOT able to post the original image (about 9 megabytes) to this platform. I tried to post the original one, but it just didn't work, and I had to post a smaller image (about 1 megabyte). 😩

My AU "Wings of the Ravens" stuff.

Canon characters are OOC in some ways (compared to canon concepts, you know), and don't say I didn't warn you.

And Daniel. (See my current icon? That's basically me now, you know. I am sometimes exhausted and just want to sleep. )

And there's Dark Danny. (This design again because I love seeing sweet dresses. )😂😂😂He's actually quite happy this time. 😂

I changed the patterns of Dark Danny's dress and changed some of the base colours of the whole design. I wanted him to look nicer in this little dress.

I drew him wearing a dress for the third or fourth time (probably more). I have a freaking weird little comic showing Dan in a dark blue dress here. 😂

He looks good in dark colours. Since his skin colour is really light, light colour clothes don't suit him that well (I can still manage to design light colour clothes for him, but he looks better in black or dark blue/red/brown sometimes. ). (He looks cheerful when he's in orange. Just see my previous post. ) Okay the truth is that I have to design the rhythm of value and sometimes I am lazy or tired, so I prefer to draw simple clothes. Honestly I need to design the value thingy better. 😂 (Btw my lineart is getting better and it looks cool. )

I promised to share the haunted dolls with you, and here is the concept art. The haunted doll that I draw a lot has a proper name now.

(This particular one) She's Button Lady, who is a really friendly and sweet neighbor. (Other designs might be used for other haunted dolls or just ordinary dolls. )

I also have some truly fearsome, aggressive and dangerous ghostly characters. The smiling little character is not included. The smiling one is just another lovely neighbor. The characters with six limbs are the truly ominous creatures.

Oh and I am calling them Softies! Hahaha🌚👍👍

These Softies hunt ghosts (I mean some certain "species", such as Ectopuses, Worms, Eels, humanoid ghosts and perhaps more. They are not cannibals btw. ) Then they "suck" the energy out of their prey. Usually, even if a Softie doesn't destroy other ghosts, it can still hurt other ghosts seriously by just passing through the prey, and some ghosts will really just die (ghosts in my AU will die 😂) because of serious injuries. The most horrifying thing is that the prey usually cannot fight back at all (unless with a special weapon or sth), because Softies can't be injured by ordinary ghosts. (They are perhaps like "ghosts" to the ghosts? )

However, Softies are often harmless to terrestrial animals and plants (maybe more?) of Earth.

As for halfas, Softies aren't too interested in them. But these creatures can really hurt halfas if they intend to do so. ( To be honest, I don't want Danny and Vlad to be the "only halfas"in this weird world, so there are more half ghosts, but most of them aren't "half humans". I know this concept is super weird but whatever. )

Alright, so Softies are similar to "soul suckers" ane they are freaking dangerous and scary.

I actually tried to colour a nice Softie with watercolour. I used watercolour to colour a cartoonic character for the first time, and I think it looks fine.

(My drawings aren't scary, and I am aware of this. Just look at the way I draw canon characters, they aren't even creepy. My OCs aren't scary either. And the name "Softie" is a bit rediculous, but it suits them, and I am always serious. My stuff just look like that and it's not like I can make sth kid-unfriendly. I don't want to draw sth that's really terrifying. So let's just pretend that the Softies are creepy. )

I wanted to complain about things so I did. 😒😒😒

I saw several events, and I am disappointed and I feel so helpless.

Creating something is usually a very very lonely and tiring process for me. I am so tired (and upset I guess) (It doesn't have to be upset. It's just that I am not THAT cheerful.).

Sometimes I think I should stop posting things (especially fanart and fanfic) but I don't actually want to do that.

Like many people, I do want to get some attention and some feedbacks, and at the same time, I don't like to post things that are… Attractive? Something that many people like or prefer to see?

I mean I don't want to care about my followers' interests. I think I know people prefer to see what sorts of contents but I'm not fond of the idea of posting those things frequently. (I don't get paid anyway.) 😞But I still kind of try to please my followers sometimes, and this is just terrifying.

Also I probably need to make some of my posts on Lofter invisible AGAIN since many people keep liking my freaking old posts and don't even bother taking a look at my latest stuff. I didn't talk about this problem very often because I tried not to care about it. 🌚🌚

Or I can just delete my fanart and fanfic, but it's unnecessary. I don't like to delete my posts. 😓

And I don't like the word "画手". There aren't many people calling me that but it's uncomfortable for me to think about the possibilities. And the words "吹爆太太！" "神仙" "老师" are the scary ones (they're kind of like flattering words) (Basically, people praise someone with some exaggerated words). I mean what are people talking about??? I don't "understand" their words. Perhaps I am too sick and too "old" for that. Haha. 😒🌚

I am not too comfortable when I am around fandoms, either. The Danny Phantom fandom is probably the most comfortable one that I know. However, it's not convenient for me to hang around with most of the people there. And usually I don't know/ understand what people are doing. I simply don't get it (I don't understand some of the new words on the Internet anyway…). Many events and news are distant (I have difficulties finding the right words to convey this). I am not someone in the Danny Phantom fandom, so I guess I know why I can't understand many things. And I don't usually ask people about the fandom stuff (It's inconvenient, remember? 😂).

I myself write and draw fancomics. I don't know how to feel about it. It's not very enjoyable. I create DP fancomics because I have something to say. Maybe I am not too proud of what I am working on. Maybe I'm not as confident as I thought. I would love to finish creating the comics but maybe I'm just daydreaming.

It's so sad that I should not post my original works at the moment.

And I have other things to worry about…

过来发作品可以备份作品，于是我还是想发东西过来。

I drew these pictures about my alternate universe in 2023. I wanted to post more of my works, but it was tiring for me to post works and process some certain feedback on my posts, so I was not very active on some websites.

I can make backup copies of some of my works by posting my works here, so I still want to post some things here.

I drew something about my alternate universe "Wings of the Ravens".

Last time I mainly talked about lines with the same thickness (@liangrexy 's 6th post), and this time I used more lines with different thickness. I basically drew lines with ink painting, calligraphy and pen drawing methods. You can see the strokes pretty clearly I suppose. Some ends of the lines, which were where I stop moving the pencil, look obvious, because I was imitating how I paint and write on actual paper. Although I don't paint very often and I really need to improve my skills, I know how it works and what I probably want. The brush I mainly used was the felt-tip pen tool, and honestly the lines has something to do with how hard I pressed the pencil against the device. When painting with an actual brush, I can hang the brush and let the tip of the brush stay on the end of a line for a little bit longer so that the water and ink can leave a pattern on the paper (to draw some lines I also need to rotate my brush). And I need to write strokes as well. As for the lineart in this post, I used techniques that are usually seen in landscape paintings. For example I drew dot leaves (pine tree needles here), which are groups of lines, to represent hair and other stuff, and I used tree branches and fabric wrinkles to draw shapes and outlines. Usually I don't colour my line drawings, so it will be nice if the lines are smooth and well-organized. If I want to colour my lineart, I can draw rougher lines theoretically (I don't really enjoy colouring my lineart now! ! ! ). 😂😂😂

I did colour something. Most of the colours I used were low-saturated. The bottom right Danny is in blue while the whole scene is basically in a red tone, so in order to achieve colour harmony, the saturation of the blue colours had to drop. The same goes for the bottom left little Dark Danny. I used the oil painting brush tool (I guess), the felt-tip pen tool, the eraser tool, and some other brushes. I drew the colours with methods of oil painting, watercolour and acrylic painting, and I didn't use that many lines. I left some brushstrokes and drew different kinds of edges because of my personal preference. Last year I often used the magic wand tool to draw this kind of art but now I realize that I can draw more quickly with brushes, although the bottom right Danny with a background still took me over two hours to draw. 😂😂😂 I think the coloured ones kind of look like prints and paper cuttings.

All plants in the picture are fictional. I just wanted to test something. I designed foliage's shapes and decorated them with branches. I have observed Cinnamomum camphora, Ficus microcarpa and some other species, and drawn a few line drawings. So I remembered something about how the branches grow, but sadly I didn't draw things very accurately. I will draw real species later I guess. 😂😂😂 SunnyTP (Lofter and Twitter) said that the dark red bushes were too saturated when we talked about colours, so I changed the bushes' colours.

The bottom left Danny's sketch doesn't have blood, and when I was colouring, I realized that I wanted to draw blood and a crying child again. I released feelings and it was cool. The blood is Dark Danny's, and I did use some horror stuff elements but I drew things in a mild way since the point was not showing something actually scary. I mix the features of several materials like hair/ fur, fire, liquid (water), clouds/ mist, plant textures and some other things together to design Danny's hair. So I can make his hair look convincing and at the same time it's clear that the character is fictional. Drawing the colourful smoke were interesting, too. One side of a wisp of smoke could have some twists while the other side could be drawn smoother.

The middle left Dannys: @suekis-stuff said my AU Dannys can lick each other and I thought that would be fine to draw so I drew the boys being friendly (or maybe not really).

There will be a few coloured chapters in the AU's comic, so I need to find proper ways to colour.

And here's one more piece of art: something about the Far Frozen people.
