I love these! I just had to reblog.
We really need a Carnival Phantasm-esque spinoff with the entire Persona cast, Atlus what are you doing?
This is great!!!
I hope this can help if you aren’t feeling the best! Take care of yourself. You are important. Don’t ever let anyone or anything make you feel otherwise. You can talk to me about anything, anytime.
Reblogging because now I’m nostalgic about Justice.
Why do more people love Cole than Justice? Is it because Cole is considered “cute”? Because I’m here to inform/remind you that Justice is adorable. Some examples!:
He thinks our world is "a world so full of beauty that beauty goes overlooked.“
He ties his things to his belt so that next time Sigrun tries to steal them it will remind her that stealing is wrong, but since he’s told her ahead of time that he did this why would she try it again? He doesn’t have an answer. He didn’t think of that.
He’s scared of becoming a demon because he just wants to be good
He believes that cats deserve freedom too. He is worried that Ser Pounce-a-Lot isn’t free
(He’s fine with it after Anders explains Pounce wants to be there and it’s a mutually beneficial thing.)
He wants a piece of lyrium (and books about both it and the Fade) to remind him of home because he’s homesick
He’s absolutely devastated at the thought that his presence has upset Aura (look at his face)
He’s a bit jealous of Aura and Kristoff’s love. He wants to find love too
Which Member of The Mighty Nein are You?
My Result: Jester(91%)
You are Jester! The secret daughter of The Ruby of the Sea, you spent most of your childhood alone in your room. Sometimes your friend, The Traveler, played with you, and taught you many tricks. After a prank gone wrong, you were forced to leave home and venture into the world for the first time. By The Traveler's guidance, you spread joy and chaos, but the world is much more complicated than storybooks would say...

Scooby Doo idea: Daphne Blake as the weird rich kid whose parents signed her up for a shit-ton of rich-kid extracurriculars like polo, fencing, and all of this other shit so they wouldn’t have to deal with her/bolster her college resume. She puts a lot of effort into actually being good at all these extra-curriculars bc she’s competing with all of her ~super successful and talented~ sisters for attention and ends up athletic as hell and socially stunted and like…really aggressive and competitive and never quite satisfied with anything she’s doing. The only other ‘High Society’ kid who can put up with her is Norville “Shaggy” Rogers —an anxious stoner with freaky strict parents whose only friend prior to Daphne was his equally anxious rescue dog—Daphne’s been beating up Shaggy’s bullies for years. Then there’s student council dweeb Fred Jones who’s always been groomed to be this ‘leader’ by his parents and is always pressured to go to these youth leadership things and stuff and yeah he’s pretty good at directing group projects, but really Fred’s kind of shy and more interested in engineering, forensics and maybe criminal justice and he’s been friends with this chick Velma Dinkley in engineering club who’s brilliant but she’s also tactless, awkward and very bitterly sarcastic to cover up for the fact that her book smarts far outweigh her social skills.
So then there’s this mystery downtown and all five of them show up and there’s a mutual, “Oh hey it’s you: The weird kid from my school. What are you doing here?” and everyone goes around. Fred’s like, “Oh I knew the owners of this place and they said they might have to close down because of this ghost and I told Velma about it and Velma thinks we can get to the bottom of this.” And Shaggy’s like, “Scoob and I didn’t want to be home right now and we honestly didn’t know about the ghost but hey Daphne’s here so we feel safe enough to hang out and maybe Scoob can sniff out some clues or something.” And then everyone turns and looks at Daphne and Daphne’s just like, “I want to fight a fucking ghost.”
Ooh, I like this interpretation :)
I have a theory that the valued quality of each of the four Houses isn’t really about the personality of its students.
The valued quality of each of the four Houses has to do with how they perceive magic.
Stick with me a second: Hogwarts is a school to study magic. Magic as Hogwarts teaches it can be seen as many things: a natural talent, a gift, a weapon, etc.
So how you believe magic should be used will both reflect your personality and change how you handle that power.
“Their daring, nerve, and chivalry set Gryffindors apart,” Gryffindors perceive magic as a weapon. Gryffindors tend to excel in aggressive forms of magic, like offensive and defensive spells, and they are good at dueling. But a true Gryffindor knows that the power is a responsibility, and so they must always use their powers to stand up for what’s right. They are the sword of the righteous, which makes them as good at Defense Against the Dark Arts as they are at combat magic.
Hufflepuffs believe that magic is a gift and that the best gifts are to be given away. Hufflepuffs, “loyal and just,” would naturally abhor the idea of jealously guarding magic or using it to hurt someone else. So Hufflepuffs share their magic to benefit of Muggles, like the Fat Friar, to protect the overlooked, like Newt Scamander with his creatures, or to oppose those who would use magic to torment and bully, like the Hufflepuffs who stood with the DA and the battle of Hogwarts.
Slytherins are the opposite: they believe their magic is a treasure that they have been entrusted to protect. The Slytherin fascination with purity, with advantage, with cunning and secrecy–all of which were perverted by the Death Eaters–comes from the idea that people with magic in their veins have been given something special that it is their duty to protect at all costs. And perhaps they aren’t entirely wrong: power in the wrong hands can be dangerous. And power interfering at will with Muggle affairs is a gross presumption that could turn the course of history. Though the series shows some of the worst that Slytherin can be, “evil,” is not a natural Slytherin tendency. “Cautious,” is.
Ravenclaws believe that magic is an art form, one that is beautiful and should be appreciated and studied for its own sake. If “wit beyond measure is man’s greatest treasure,” then asking what magic is for is useless. It’s more important to immerse oneself in magic for its own sake. Ravenclaws push the boundaries of magic to see if they can, hence Hermione’s spell experiment on the DA coins being dubbed a Ravenclaw quality, but like Luna Lovegood in the pursuit of extraordinary creatures: they can also be content to plumb the depths of what already exists.
So while you can see where personalities will overlap over Houses, perhaps in Sorting we should be asking ourselves less what we think we are and more what we think we believe.
Wow amazing art.... that includes Kida!!!

I love this so much
What if someone got bitten by a vampire, but didn’t realize it. So then they go around and keep misidentifying all the symptoms, like
“Dude, you haven’t gone outside in a while.” “Yeah, last time I went out I got this wicked sunburn.”
“Are you still up?” “Yeah, I started bing watching this show on Netflix.”
“Dude, I’m seriously craving something right now.” “Like what?” “I dunno. Pizza rolls?”

Reblogging to remember because it was awesome 👏
1. Have a goal
While it may sound like I’m stating the obvious here, your character needs to have something they want to accomplish. Maybe they want to be the best at something, see a place, fall in love, conquer the world, or something else. Whatever it is, they need to have something that they desire beyond all other things. Ideally, give them more than one goal. Make them have to sacrifice one to achieve the other, to add extra drama
2. Have a reputation
Maybe they’re the best artist in their class or they’re great at juggling. Perhaps they slipped on the stairs in front of their whole village. Either way, give something for the locals to remember about them. That way it can give you a starting point for the interactions with other characters
3. Have a friend
Whether a friend, a coworker, a sibling, an army buddy, or someone they saved, have someone close to your character whom they’re close to and wish well. Yeah, angsty “I have no friends” characters can be fun, but in small doses; eventually the reader gets fed up with them. At the very least the character needs someone to talk to or bounce ideas off of
4. Have a home
It may be a neighborhood they grew up in, their parents’ house, or a room they’ve been renting in a tavern. Hell, it could even be a person if you so choose. Everyone needs to feel secure at one time or another
5. Have a signature item
Now, recognize that this may not work for EVERY character, but it’s up to you to decide what will fit and what won’t. In many cases, it can work. A signature item is something that is recognizably YOUR CHARACTER’S, be it a weapon, a scarf, a toy, or a piece of jewelry. It’s something that makes them feel like themself
6. Have a problem
This should be something other than the problem addressed in the main plot line. Maybe a member of their family is sick, they are broke, or they’re failing their classes. This helps make your character seem more realistic because NO ONE has one problem at a time
7. Have a secret
This can affect the plot or not; either way, it helps make your character more well rounded. Maybe your character can’t read, left their crewmates to die when a kracken attacked their ship, or made their long lost sister run away. If you choose to have it affect the plot in any way, this secret should embarrass your character, make it so that other characters don’t trust your character, or somehow endanger them and the people they’re close to if found out
8. Have a reason to be brave and to fight
Maybe it’s because your character wants to be like their hero, maybe it’s so they can repay a debt (like if someone saved their life previously), maybe it’s for their child, but your character needs to have a reason to occasionally face their fears
Have fun!!!
All right... I’m = Lawful & Chaotic Origins. I play the prologues a lot, I’m a total lore nerd and read all the codexes I get my hands. I’ve played past Ostagar a lot. Usually slow down around Orzammer because Deep Roads. Only made it past a few times. I romance everyone fairly equally & can make mean choices if it suits the character too. For DA2 = Neutral fits best, believe 2 is problematic but has some strong points. Love the characters and purple dialogue options because sarcasm is such a mystery to me so having guide to how/when it happens is helpful and fun. Played diplomatic nice blood mage support focus before which makes me slightly annoyed at Inquisition’s Hawke... Sitting there thinking, but aren’t you a blood mage, Hawke the whole time? That was confusing why they did that. INQUISITION = Chaotic = While, I like guides for sidequests, because open world games are too much at once and I need help when there’s 50 things a minute. I fought a dragon way too early, kept trying until I won. Jumped everywhere, the novelty didn’t wear off, tried jump glitch my way up cliffs. Shortcuts! :) Skyhold indulged my eagerness to jump further.
Lawful Origins -knows everything about the DA universe -reads all the codex entries -actually knows things about story structure -nerd
Neutral Origins -romances alistair every time -can never bring themselves to make evil choices -loves the music -cries a lot
Chaotic Origins -“FINE DWARVEN CRAFTS DIRECT FROM ORZAMMAR” -just replays all the different prologues over and over -restarts when they get to ostagar
Lawful 2 -thinks DA2 was unfairly judged in comparison to origins -has Strong Opinions ™ about anders -thinkpieces and meta -secretly bitter
Neutral 2 -really just loves all the DA2 characters -like, REALLY loves them -a lot -fix-it fic and coffee shop AUs -probably bisexual
Chaotic 2 -has only played 2 -“wtf is a darkspawn lol” -purple dialogue options -probably a blood mage
Lawful Inquisition -enjoys fetch quests -takes time to craft new weapons and armour at regular intervals -talks to every companion between every single mission -looks up walkthroughs and quickloads whenever a companion disapproves
Neutral Inquisition -Inquisition was their first DA game -avoids fandom drama -just genuinely enjoys all the games -the most chill
Chaotic Inquisition -“HOLY SHIT YOU CAN JUMP” -spends 90% of their time falling off of roofs in skyhold -runs into dragon battles 20 levels too soon and gets destroyed -tries to glitch on purpose
Agreed
These baby hippos will make everything better
Reblogging to remember this.... because wow this was totally my head canon, and wow that’s amazing! :)
amell, surana, jowan, and anders, just kids stuck in a tower.
(this was going to be the first of two parts, with the second showing the four of them as full adults, grown into their roles as heroes and rebels, but a whole lot of real life shit happened, so that’s on the back burner for now.)
Wow that’s so pretty!!! : o
Art by Sasha Vinogradova
I love the idea of all this so much.
You know what fantasy writing needs? Working class wizards.
A crew of enchanters maintaining the perpetual flames that run the turbines that generate electricity, covered in ash and grime and stinking of hot chilies and rare mushrooms used for the enchantments
A wizard specializing in construction, casting feather fall on every worker, and enchanting every hammer to drive nails in straight, animating the living clay that makes up the core of the crane
An elderly wizard and her apprentice who transmute fragile broken objects. From furniture, to rotten wood beams, to delicate jewelry
A battle magician, trained with only a few rudimentary spells to solve a shortage of trained wizards on the front who uses his healing spells to help folks around town
Wizarding shops where cheery little mages enchant wooden blocks to be hammered into the sides of homes. Hammer this into the attic and it will scare off termites, toss this in the fire and clean your chimney, throw this in the air and all dust in the room gets sucked up
Wizard loggers who transmute cut trees into solid, square beams, reducing waste, and casting spells to speed up regrowth. The forest, they know, will not be too harsh on them if the lost tree’s children may grow in its place
Wizard farmers who grow their crops in arcane sigils to increase yield, or produce healthier fruit
Factory wizards who control a dozen little constructs that keep machines cleaned and operational, who cast armor to protect the hands of workers, and who, when the factory strikes for better wages, freeze the machines in place to ensure their bosses can’t bring anyone new in.
Anyway, think about it.
Well, I suppose I should at least try. Maybe some thing good will happen. :)

Awesome reblogging because Ancient alphabets are awe-inspiring.
Ancient Alphabets. Thedan Script - used extensively by Gardnerian Witches Runic Alphabets - they served for divinatory and ritual purposes, as well as the more practical use; there are three main types of Runes; Germanic, Scandinavian/Norse, and Anglo-Saxon and they each have any number of variations, depending on the region from which they originate Celtic and Pictish - early Celts and their priests, the Druids, had their own form of alphabet known as “Ogam Bethluisnion”, which was an extremely simple alphabet used more for carving into wood and stone, than for general writing, while Pictish artwork was later adopted by the Celts, especially throughout Ireland Ceremonial Magick Alphabets - “Passing the River”, “Malachim” and “Celestial” alphabets were used almost exclusively by ceremonial magicians
