Why are we silent???
Lets be honest though, the way in which Yousef opened up to Sana about Even. The obvious pain he felt with regards to what went down. The fact it made him question so much and lose his faith.
Then you have to think perhaps Elias was telling him how much Sana wanted him to go, trying to give him a subtle pep talk because he can tell Yousef likes Sana too.
Then he gets there and Even is there. No warning or anything. After everything he told Sana, she blindsides him like that. Blindsides his friends, including Even, like that. He thinks perhaps her want for him to be there never actually had anything to do with him and her, but is all about her trying to patch things up between the balloon squad and Even. He sees that subtle smile (that reads a lot like a smirk in that moment) and he gets pissed off. Hurt.
I’m not saying that makes him kissing her best friend okay at all. But I can see why he’d be mad at Sana for perhaps setting things up how she did.
“I always wonder what I actually am to other people. What it is like to see me? To wrap your arms around me? To look at me when I laugh or cry? What is it like to know the smell of me? Or how my chest feels when you rest your head on it? What is it like to know me? What does it feel like to love me? Maybe if I knew that feeling I’d learn to love me too.”

So, I’ve seen a lot of people ask what order they should read the ToG series. And I’ll admit, it’s a bit confusing. So I hope this helps:
Throne of Glass was published in 2012 and is the first book
Crown of Midnight was published in 2013 and is the second book
Heir of Fire was published in 2014 and is the third book
The Assassins Blade was published in 2014 and is the prequel to the whole series
Queen of Shadows was published in 2015 and is the fourth book
Empire of Storms was published in 2016 and is the fifth book
Tower of Dawn is being published on September 5, 2017 (according to Good Reads and assuming it does not change) and is the sixth book
Throne of Glass Book 7 is slated to be published in Spring of 2018 and is the final instalment
TAB is the prequel novella to the entire series. BUT IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE READ FIRST. You can read the series before you read TAB. HOWEVER, I highly recommend reading TAB before reading QoS simply because characters come back that were in TAB.
While they are re-introduced in QoS, as if they are new, reading TAB gives you a better idea on who the characters are and what they mean to Celaena’s journey as a whole.
ToD is basically Throne of Glass Book 6. It is not a continuation of the story, but it is what happens simultaneously to Chaol while the events of EoS are taking place. According to what SJM has said, it is IMPERITVIE to read ToD in order to understand what happens in Throne of Glass Book 7.
Whew, well I hope this makes sense and that I helped you guys.
Have fun reading :)
About an hour ago, I was in Walmart looking for my conditioner because today is wash day for my hair. As I’m looking for my product, this older white lady approaches me and she says, “Excuse me, miss. Please don’t be offended by this.” And usually when white people tell me not to be offended, 9 times out of 10, whatever they are about to say is going to be offensive af.
Anyway, she follows it up with, “My husband and I just recently won our custody battle with our foster daughter and she means the world to us. She’s a beautiful African American girl and her hair looks a lot like yours. But I’m afraid because I don’t know what to do with her hair. It’s a lot different from mines and our other children and we are at a total loss. I’ve tried looking up the YouTube videos and my husband went to the braiding shops so they can teach him how to properly braid her hair, but he’s still pretty new and it will be a while before he gets used to it. Do you have any tips you can give me? If you don’t have the time, it’s okay, really! I just needed a little advice because I want her to look beautiful.”
Y’all. swear I almost started crying on aisle 6. So for the last 30 minutes, I spent my time talking to her and what products to use and how to properly detangle and comb her hair with the proper tools and what not to do with natural hair. And I showed her a bunch of easier to follow natural hair tutorials on YouTube and saved them for her. (I also had to create a YouTube account for her so she could save it for later.) but omfg, she was so sweet, and I could tell that she listened to every single thing I had to say and she took little notes on her little notepad.
And what really filled my heart was the fact that her husband actually taking classes from African braiding shops. And she showed me a picture of him wearing a little sweater vest and loafers in a little shop surrounded by beautiful black women showing him how to braid black hair and even the lady he’s braiding on is guiding his hands. And omfg. Bless these old white people and their black daughter who I know have new loving parents because they are willing to step out of their comfort zone just to make her feel and look beautiful.
I really hope our paths cross again one day, Mrs Cicilia. 💖💕
Out of sheer curiosity, reblog this if you started watching Queen of the South because of me, @the-most-beautiful-broom or because of t100 parallels.
