I feel like dicks favourite sibling is Tim , don't get me wrong her definitely loves evryone else a lot okay but he has a very specific relation with tim and they both siblings more than any of the other siblings sibling , like in front of Damian dick has to be responsible wether thats because Damian is still a pretty young kid or because dick was pushed into some sort of a parental role over him when bruce was in the time stream you can decide , with Jason it's more complicated and he hasn't known duke all that long and cass she's awesome don't get him wrong but fav sibling titile definitely goes to tim because with tim he could do the most dangerous reckless bullshit and Tim would just go "aight bet" and they'd do it together because with the shit tim pulls with yj and how passively suicidal dick is half the time they click amazingly together.
Part of me wonders if Merrilee avoided the mirror after Maysilee’s death? Too afraid to see her sister’s face staring right back at her. Did she avoid the color purple? Too afraid to look any more like her sister than she had to. Did people in town continue to call her Maysilee at times before realizing their mistake? Leaving her with a stark reminder that while she’d always be a twin she was no longer a part of a pair.
I decided to watch all the DC animated movies and rank + review them! The most recent one I watched was Justice League Throne of Atlantis. Here’s my notes on it!
(SPOILER WARNING!!!)
My thoughts:
Honestly the movie was okay, it’s decent but it’s not really all that. DC definitely has better movies out there. I think my favorite thing about this particular series is the dynamic between Batman and Green Lantern. This says a lot because I actually hate Green Lantern after being subjected to Green Lantern First Flight and Green Lantern Emerald Knight. I also really liked the characterization of Cyborg. Shockingly enough, in my honest opinion, the weakest character in Throne of Atlantis WAS Aquaman. They didn’t flesh him out enough for me to really care. I think a big thing I’ve noticed with DC is they tend to either rush straight into action with the movie slowing down halfway through, or the first half of the movie is slow and then it picks up. They haven’t found a good middle ground but you could probably blame the pacing on how short these movies are. This all being said, it’s not a bad movie! I wasn’t sitting there thinking to myself “God can this movie finish already?” the way I was during the Green Lantern movies.
My notes and my current ranking!

I’ll probably only post them as I watch them because if I’m being completely honest, I don’t remember enough about a lot of them to post about because I watched a lot of them over the Summer. But if there is a specific one anyone wants me to go over, then just let me know and I’ll try and find a recap to jog my memory a bit! I’ll also try to post about the ones I remember the most! I do have notes on all of them but they’re more reactions to the movie rather than on the quality.
Today as homework for my playwriting class, I had to map out a scenario for my play (which is like discerning the tactics my characters will use to further their goal) I said fuck that and just did an outline instead. To explain myself I said
“In an effort to stop myself from going insane, I’m doing an outline yuhhhhh”
I spent 4 hours on it, then I panicked because I didn’t want my professor to be mad at me so I did the scenario as well and turned it in with the words
Pls don’t b mad at me, I’ll cry, thanks
-Quinn
So in conclusion, I did more work than I needed and then begged my professor not to be mad at me. This sums up my college career pretty well I think.
Imagine Tim talking to about how he was at the circus the night of the Flying Grayson’s
Tim: Yeah, I mean watching them die really helped shape me into who I am today
Dick: …that’s great Tim
Tim: Though if I’m being honest it kinda scarred me for life
Dick: It scarred you for life?
I know this would probably never happen but it’s kinda funny to think about
I dont think he wants help Bruce…
Big fan of the Reverse Robins AU because not only does Dick Grayson deserve a break from his eldest daughter syndrome but also imagine Dick Grayson as the baby of the family? He’d have them all wrapped around his finger.
A while ago, I decided to watch every single animated DC movie and rank and review them. I’ve watched about 20 of them so far and I have all my reviews sitting in my notes app.
What I mean when I do not control the hyperfixation.
