Being a theatre major is so weird because why is my assignment to write a play from the perspective of the block of wood in pinnochio and why did the sentences “What if the block of wood gaslights Pinnochio” and “The block of wood learns how to fly and stops Pinnochio from burning down the house” leave my mouth. Anyways, the play is set in 2005 and my block of wood wants to possess Pinnochio so he can become a pilot.
I wonder how many good fanfictions I'm missing out on just because people don't know how to tag 😔
What’s left of the Graysons when their act fall apart ?
(Have I ever said how much I love Mary Grayson ? Because I love her so much.
Also in my mind she’s a blondie gitana who speaks Spanish (maybe castillan even), French and Caló (gitans’ language though it might have a different name))
Idk why fandom decided that Tim was the coffee addict insomniac in the family when this is a legit quote from Nightwing (1996)
“Anyone who says there aren’t enough hours in a day aren’t using all 24”
Throughout almost the entirety of this run, he’s running on nothing but caffeine and justice.
Furthermore idk why some people in the fandom decided that Dick was the mentally stable one either because he’s pretty insane throughout this run. And man does he get put through the wringer, Blockbuster essentially psychologically tortured him throughout a period of weeks and pretty much destroyed his life.

my little pony autistic harvey is real from batman - teenage mutant ninja turtles adventures #1 if u even care
I’m not going to put this on the post itself, but I stared at this for like ten minutes wondering why it made my brain fritz before realizing it’s because it seems appropriate on the surface, but it’s kind of…the other way around?
Which is freaking weird given the general impressions these characters leave. If you were asked to sort them as the Emotion Boy and the Manly Man, the instinctive choice seems obvious. But their respective responses to negative emotions are, uh.
Jason comes back home screaming about how he was wronged while heavily armed.
Dick literally moves to another city/job/identity instead of talking to people. Other people are for talking about THEIR emotions! Because you’re a supportive leader/mentor/big brother figure! This is fine! *room catches on fire* This is fine!!!!
Jason: *fires a semiautomatic into the air* NOW THAT YOU HAVE LISTENED TO MY TWELVE POINT ESSAY ABOUT WHY I HAVE A GRUDGE AGAINST YOU, Jason: I will assign you three very specific tasks to get back in my good graces. Jason: They’re impossible. I hope you like ‘Scarborough Fair’.
Dick: *stops acting fine exactly long enough to start a fight with a scapegoat over something more justifiable than why he’s really upset, punches them until the fight artfully destroys his shirt, then goes back to repressing and working out the rage shakes on bank robbers*
(Sometimes he can cajole himself into asking for advice from dubious sources ((Bruce when he’s being written as emotionally inept; Deathstroke???; civilians with no information about his situation)), which is at least adjacent to talking about your feelings.)
In conclusion: Alfred: Do you ever want to talk about your emotions, Master Dick? Dick: No. But how are you doing, Alfred? You’ve looked tired recently. Jason: I do. Alfred: We know, Master Jason. Jason: I’m mad. Alfred, looking very tired indeed: We know, Master Jason.
im normal

Beauty is subjective... Unless you're Dick Grayson.
Literally the most acclaimed character in all of DC, the most noted for his beauty, and there's absolutely no one who doesn't consider his less than gorgeous... It's crazy.
And as a curious fact, he's also the character who has been most praised for his appearance, to the point that even villains have pointed it out...
And canonically he has no idea how attractive he is... Which is also impressive considering all the comments he gets-
I love Tim and Dick’s relationship in canon and I really wish it was explored more in fanfic. But it feels like it gets thrown aside in favor of making Tim and Jason besties, often to the point where fics will villainize Dick and it makes me so sad. This being said, there’s a similar problem with modern comics as well, where Dick and Tim are thrown aside for Dick and Damian. Don’t get me wrong I do love them, I just wish DC could highlight their relationship without forgetting the bond between Dick and Tim. This is a problem I’ve seen a lot with DC. They want to forge a bond between two characters but by doing so they kinda ignore the previous bonds they had. They sorta did the same thing with Jason and Roy.
In my opinion, Dick and Tim have the best relationship of siblings in the batfamily. Tim drops in after Jason’s death. Dick is harboring all this guilt from not really being there a lot. Don’t get me wrong, he tried his hardest, he gave Jason his number, gave him some solid advice, but he was always busy with the Titans. Then Jason died and Dick felt guilty and Tim showed up and Dick wanted to do better for Tim. In a lot of ways, Tim showed Dick what it means to be a big brother. AUGH they’re just so important to me, the way Dick unconditionally supports Tim and the way Tim looks up to Dick is just so MWAH 🤌
