I Don't Understand Entirely How To Feel About This, But Sure 👍

I need more people to write Aigis and Ryoji as friends, post-game or in some canon divergence au. They are made to be opposing forces, to clash for the fate of the world, but the purpose designated for them by their creators is not the purpose they chose to follow. They become friends in both because and in spite of what they are, because who would better understand their struggles? Neither is truly human, but they are both people. People who doubt their own humanity. They validate each other's struggles in a way no one else could, before affirming that yes, you are a person, you worked so very hard to be a person and I recognize that struggle and say that it is ok if you don't understand all the nuances of humanity right away, I won't judge you, because I am the exact same way.

Yes, Aigis initially saw Ryoji as dangerous, and he was, but I want them to grow past that. I want them to be able to look back at their first clash and think about how much they've grown since then. I want them to tell each other that the fact that they feel remorse for the lives lost is a clear sign of their newfound empathy for others, and that yes it's difficult, grappling with those feelings, but they should face them head on for the sake of those lost lives. I want them to come to see the other as one of their closest friends, the one they can turn to whenever they need.

Aigis and Ryoji should be friends, because they chose to be more than the enemies they were when they first met.

The whole outfit, the mask, his tendency to pull his gloves, the acrobatics, he's described as a "show-off" in one of the beginning cutscenes, he has theater kid written all over him. Shadow Okumura even calls him "pompous," to which he probably responded with a smug smile.

Had Shido not gotten him arrested, he would have become the darling of the stage, name spread far and wide for his theatrics and exuberance in every detail. He would have put on the best musical this town had ever seen. He would have stolen heart upon heart, in a slightly different way. If Shujin had a drama program, he would have been running it within the week, regardless of his criminal record.

At some point in time, he probably began reenacting plays in the attic, occasionally halting production after getting a call from Sojiro asking him what the hell he's doing. Futaba would have watched every second from her surveillance system. Had he discovered his true calling, he may have become warped by the allure of the stage, only to develop a Palace of his own against all odds. His appearance in it would constantly be changing to match whatever character he's adopted at the moment, even switching what language he's speaking.

Joker would have been a theater kid. He could have been the avatar of all theater kids.

So, this might be an unpopular opinion and I don’t care if I get hate! BUT! I have a bone to pick with the Zelda community. I can’t believe you guys… this is disgusting…. Now- you might be thinking “Get to the point ” and I will! I think the CDI games are better than Totk and Botw all together! YEAH! I SAID IT! The games are mid at best! Don’t believe me? Let’s talk about the Links! Wild is simply unappealing in every way! He has no flair at all. No cap. And Koridai? He can rizz up any gay person out there! That is plain as day! And if you don’t agree? Then I guess you and me can just not breathe the same air together anymore… fr fr in conclusion? Nintendo needs to hire me. That’s a given, unmistakably.

I'm starting to think it was never real in the first place, just a figment of my imagination lost to the recesses of my mind. On the upside, there are a lot of really freaking cool black mask Joker designs out there. Like, damn persona 5 artists did not have to go that hard but they did anyway and it's glorious.

I swear I am scouring the globe looking for that one freaking black mask redesign where they have him iridescent black pants and called atlus cowards but I can't find it anywhere it's so upsetting

Headcanon time!

Ryoji, being whatever the fuck he is™ is constantly swarmed by shadows during the dark hour. But not in a 'they're trying to kill him' way, more in an 'involuntary cuddle pile with goop' way. Shadows are completely docile towards him, even friendly, because he's one of them and also stupid strong so he can protect them. He can order them to do simple tasks if he wants, though he probably never would because Ryoji either doesn't understand the goopy monsters that really seem to like him, or he's ashamed of himself and refuses to use his authority over shadows that way (y'all have no idea how much self-loathing I can slap into this little blorbo I swear to Nyx.)

I think the timeline is a great concept and it seemed to sorta work, up til BOTW. We sorta figured out BOTW's placement (after Hyrule Warriors ish was what I went with) but then TOTK mucked everything up so now we're figuring it out again. And, of course, the stories are at least compelling to me. A person who's written multiple fics (most unpublished) and made a whole links meet au like a weirdo

Random bit of Lightning Lore: One time I was sewing because I like sewing sometimes. I had one of those pizza cutters but for fabric and was trying to cut through some fabric with it, like you do. But my middle finger on my left hand was just an itty bit too close to the edge of the ruler I was using to keep my line straight and I sliced clean through the part of the finger where the outer edge of your nail meets skin. There wasn't even any blood or anything, just a clean cut through my finger.

...I honestly can't believe my lore was just an injury story, secondary lore: whenever I'm trying to fall asleep at night I'll usually imagine a self-insert character interacting with whatever story seems most fun to interact with at the moment. Currently it's my Wings of Fire OC Streak existing in the MHAverse and working on the side of the league of villains because she got isekai'd there and AFO immediately asserted himself as the 'queen' of her 'tribe' because hello this is a freaking dragon of course AFO is going to force her on his side. Streak's not happy about it, but she's tired of going against her tribe (OC lore) and doesn't bother trying to leave. That doesn't mean she won't try to spare the children wherever she can because hello those are little dragonets wtf your majesty.

Anyway she keeps referring to Shigaraki as princess because in her mind, calling him a prince would be an insult and it's low-key kinda hilarious imagining how people keep thinking "there's another head of the LoV??" When it's literally just Shiggy who's very not happy about being called a princess.
