Okay so now that Herb or however you say it is working at commission maybe next season he could help out the siblings.

And Dave I can’t see wanting to stay given how he feels like an outsider in his family so the commission could find him before he dies and give him a job there?

When the handler says to hazel that he can retire into a time zone of his choosing, we see that it can’t mess up the timeline enough for it to not be allowed so maybe they could just let dave live because Erb feels like the type of dude to really pull through next season.

Personally I think we are getting ghost Dave next season but whatever just thought I’d present a different theory.
