Bella Ramsey Instagram Blurb (part 2)

So I've decided to make a point. I know hundreds of writers on here have been trying to bring this to the attention of audiences, but it doesn't seem to be getting through. So I'm gonna try. These are the likes, comments, and reblog ratios on some of my fics.

I don't get as many notes as some authors do on here for most of my work, but you can see how out of 447 people that it's underwhelming to receive no comments.

Even on my more popular fanfictions, the comments and reblogs don't even compare to the amount of likes on a post.

And here is a fact that might startle some of you;

Likes mean nothing. They mean nothing on any social media app, and at the end of the day, they mean even less here. Writers want kudos, comments, ideas, and constructive criticism. Writers want your thoughts on the work you just read. Even if it's just a simple red heart emoji or a keyboard smash, that tells us so much and gives us inspiration to write similar content for you and others to enjoy. Reblogs are even more important than comments and most definitely likes. Reblogs allow our work to reach different sides and circles of tumblr. If it's on your mutuals dash because you reblogged it, then more people will see it, read it, and hopefully enjoy it. Reblogs matter, because writers are pouring their heart, soul, pussys, and dicks into these fics and are brave enough to post them. For free. You get to read these fics for free. And the least you can do is drop a comment.

Reblog a fic to your blog if you loved it. Even better, Reblog with tags or write your comments with the reblog. We see all of it, and it makes our day. Please, you're wondering why writers for your favorite fandoms are dwindling here. It's because there is no support. If you support your favorite writers, artists, gifmakers, etcetera, then we might just stick around and continue making free content for you all.

ellie never used to give a shit about her her until she met you. it was constantly knotty and normally greasy because honestly who gives a fuck about greasy hair in the middle of the apocalypse. that was until she met you and learnt how much you loved to run your fingers through her hair

ellie started washing her hair more, brushing out the knots so your hand could effortlessly run through the strands. she’d just lay on your lap, that was the signal. it was the way she de-stressed. your hand soothing her to a state of peace

abby always had her hair up in that gorgeous plait. you loved it, you really did so normally, you’d settle on brushing her baby hairs out of her face rather than running your hand completely through it

abby caught on though and god if she loved the subtle way she was obsessed with the real deal. she started wearing her hair down around you knowing you’d run your hand through it. it put her in a state of affection. i’m not kidding, that woman would be all over you the second you ran your hand through her strands. affectionate kisses all over your face, hee head buried in your shoulder

abby would, quite frankly, turn into a small child when she had her hair played with

swooning for this woman istg (joel’s still alive and you and ellie love in your farmhouse)

idc what you say this woman would be a full blown SIMP for her wife. opening doors for you, tying your lace if it’s undone, helping you put your hair up

literally anything you could do, ellie will do.

pictures cover EVERY wall in your house. ellie found a polaroid camera when she was on patrol and made it her mission to capture as many memories as possible

ellie is very adamant on set date nights as if, for some reason, something comes up and you can’t do it that night you best believe it’s happening the next day

nights in with ellie are the best, laying in each others arms basking in the silence

either that or she’s strumming at the guitar that’s home is beside your bed

if your a sociable person, your often throwing small get-togethers at your place. ellie doesn’t exactly like them, prefers sticking to her small group, but she loves seeing you all dolled up

if you are throwing one, she is stuck to your side the entire night (and you have a party of your own in the morning whilst cleaning. music and drinks included)

however if your not a sociable person. you throw small hang-out. you, ellie, jesse, dina and jj, joel and tommy. drinks passed between you with a movie playing in the background.

these types of nights end with everyone crashing overnight

if you both want a kid, you get one from jackson. there was always kids abandoned on the gates of the town.

it took over an hour of convincing on ellie’s part for you to not bring them all into your home.

i’d personally say she’d be super clingy although i know people disagree. i think this because she knows the type of people out there and would hate the idea of something bad happening to you

so, how is that fixed? easy, she literally will not leave your side.

since shes like jackson’s dealer, there’s constantly people over grabbing their weekly fix. you’ve probably befriended more people in the time of you dating ellie because of this than the rest of your life

no because imagine laying in bed and sharing a joint with ellie. the two of you had a busy day, barely sharing any time together so your cuddled up, a joint between you both as you share details from the day

i can imagine people coming up to dealer!ellie whilst you two are on a date and her straight up telling them to fuck off and to find her tomorrow

whenever you express the fact that you feel like your ripping ellie off (since she never lets you pay for the weed you smoke) her excuse is always “pretty girls smoke for free”

you and abby had a tendency to… argue? okay no, it wasn’t arguing, it was bickering. you had been dating for close to a year now and although there has been a few major fights over something silly, everything was perfect.

now, the bickering wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. you usually snap a sarcastic remark at one another knowing the other would play into the banter. it was honestly really funny, almost always ending up laughing

you were pretty popular and abby had gotten used to your friends randomly showing up and staying the night. it was a group of them this time. five, including you, all sprawled out in the living room of yours and abby’s apartment.

abby had joined for a while after work, watching movies and eating popcorn before she decided to go to bed. unlike usual, however, she couldn’t have her nightly make out session with you so she left with a kiss on the forehead.

“night darling, i love you and your big ass forehead”

the comment made you turn your head towards her so fast that she swore you got whiplash. you know it was a joke, trying to rule you up in front of your friends

and the way she raised her eyebrows at you, if your friends weren’t there, for you would have jumped her bones. not so discretely, you turned to your friends and told them you were going to the toilet, abby trailing along behind tou liek a lost puppy

“at least be mindful of us this time. don’t fuck too loud!”

and you left your friends laughing behind you, the video they took secretly being stored for the day you get married
