Ahsoka Tano 💙✨ #maythe4thbewithyou

I got into star wars last year so I’m still a newbie fan but my favorite characters are Ahsoka Tano and Kanan Jarrus ✨ my best friend showed me the first few movies and my boyfriend showed me the rest ❤️😋 after watching rebels and clone wars I was obsessed. This is my first actual #mermay im participating in as well as the first time ive done something for May the 4th :) I also plan on possibly remaking this in the future to see how much ive improved :)

There are so many ways to make moodboards, bookcovers, and icons without infringing copyright! As artists, authors, and other creatives, we need to be especially careful not to use someone else’s work and pass it off as our own.

how did you figure out how to do hands

well when I do hands I tend to break them into 3 big shapes 

starting with the wrist then palm, thumb then the fingers 

once I have the big shapes in I separate the fingers

here are some more examples of the different parts

one of the best ways that I learned how to draw hands was to draw a LOT of them, in different poses, while looking at a reference. This is a site that I found useful, 

it has 3D models of hands that you can change the view so you can see the same pose from different angles. p.s. this site i linked to does contain nude figures just a heads up

🦋WIP?🌱I posted this design I had for my sketchbook a while ago and finally decided to paint it 😊✨i only had 2 pics from the process 😅I’m debating maybe not adding the hand and instead adding a flower but I’m not sure.
