@PSCENTRALā EVENT 13: TROPES Mandoverse tropes as magazines [insp]
Surprise adoptions
I definitely need a full fanfic for this (āā”āā”)
AU- morderno (inspired by a scene from Despicable Me 2)
Din organized the birthday party Grogu and there is Omera with her daughter Winta. She is a friend of Din childhoodand and she always tries to trap Din with all manner of appointment combined with all kinds of men or woman.
During the party something is on fire and the sheriff in the town passes at that moment helping.
Having escaped danger Din and Grogu remain impressed and amazed by the Marshal for the matter of his for the kindness and understanding.
"Din Djarin" looks clumsy Din.
The Marshall shakes his hand, "Cobb Vanth".
"This is my son," she said the brown-eyed man placing his hands on the shoulders of his son.
Grogu looks Cobb with puppy eyes and would see him as a hero, "Are you single?".
Din turns red upon hearing his son's words and would like to hide from Cobb's beautiful eyes, while Omera is already planning a diabolical plan to bring together those two.
being a baby isnāt something you can just expect to get good at overnight

AND The Bad Batch family including Omega ;).
*blows kiss towards space* to all the star wars found families
I LOVE THIS!!!! I AM OBSESSED WITH GROGU!!!!
why din is a good dad: a thread - part two
1) he encourages grogu to practice walking whenever it is safe to do so (and heās secretly proud of him too)
2) will literally stand off against a private to-hire army to keep his adopted son safe
3) he uses cute lil nicknames when no one is looking
4) he is always positive with his sons crazy voodoo powers even though he doesnāt understand it, he just wants grogu to learn the way of his people like he himself had (he does get a lil wee bit excited when grogu levitates shit but wonāt admit it)
5) takes him out on cool and totally not dangerous essential trips in the air with his jet pack⦠cause itās fun.
6) this. din is a fierce mandalorian warrior softie
7) he makes sure that before anything his son is ok and in good health
8) he teaches him good table manners
9) he includes him in his conversations so grogu can begin to learn other languages and experience other races and species
10) he would go against everything he has ever lived by just to let his son see his face, and so that he can look upon grogu with his own eyes
din is a good dad not through his words alone, but through his actions. he scoured half of the galaxy just so his son could find his people again and get the life and education he knows is best for him.
he could have kept him. he could have done nothing and left him.
but no.
din is a good parent because he is willing to travel across the galaxy for his son and his son alone.
his love is unconditional.

Hyperdrive units were complex machines.
A hyperdrive, in its most basic form, made you successfully travel through space really fast. Without it primitive cultures were left spending years going between planets much less systems. Forget it. He hadnāt even studied cultures that old, they were just ridiculous stories that nobody really took seriously. Until you had to repair a hyperdrive.
Hyperdrives actually folded space in order to create a shortcut through it and thus permit you to travel faster through a given space.
Now⦠the funny thing about traveling through hyperspace was knowing what would be on the other side.
On the other side you had to know not just what was expected to be in the space but what would be there in the time that you would be plopping out of your wormhole.
Space and time had to be in balance for you to not get scrambled.
And, frankly, the Slave I was older than the Crest and when he had gotten Bobaās blessing to borrow it he hadnāt been told nearly enough about the slapdash state of repairs on the hyperdrive.
Din Djarin might have been a king but he was not a taxi driver, mechanicā¦

This has been said a thousand times in a thousand different ways, but I just adore how Din Djarin found himself suddenly taking care of a strange alien kid with magic powers, and he is just like, āYep, alright, this is cool, I can do this.ā No questions asked (except for helpful ones, like ādoes this look Jedi to you??ā), no hesitation (even when he has to give up said kid). I feel like too often, we see characters stall because of disbelief or skepticism when it comes to the unknown, but Din just straps the kid to his armor and his rifle to his back and embraces it. Itās not even heroism, itās just decency
I just watched the very first episode of the Mandalorian for the first time in like YEARS and I NEVER noticed that in that iconic last scene where it pans out on Din standing over Groguās little floating bassinet, holding out his finger,
he wiggles his finger š he does a little finger wiggle šš
