last song: i was thinking about heathers musical last night and put it on to loop while on a mad surugaya shopping spree. i was imagining it again earlier today and put on the end of our love is god just to listen to that part where kurt gets shot. i don’t even like the whole song that much but i kept looping some of the fun motifs from it in the other songs with my mind radio.

favourite colour: uhhhhh pfffff kinda suuuck at choosing one favourite colour but i vibe with this soft green #cccc66 that’s the colour of this little water bottle i got, and also the awesome yellow #e4bd18 on the cute crossbody itabag i also got.

last movie/show: when i watch shows or movies it’s usually with note who’s been busy with granblue relink as of late so i’ve just been catching up on connor vods (last one i watched) (what i'm watching right now) an actual movie or show I last watched…… i swear it must’ve been episode 5 of scott pilgrim from november last year with note? this was before i strapped in committed to making that video, and then travelled afterwards.

sweet/spicy/savoury: idk i like treats of both the sweet and savoury variety (separately) i think this is a weird question for me to answer. actually buying nice treats is costly so most of the time i’m just eating savoury for sustenance? preparing something sweet myself is a hassle.

relationship status: single and fine with it.

last thing i googled: this sucks the last thing i looked up was “sustenance” to make sure I got the word right, my last few searches have also been “episode 6 scott pilgrim” “episode 4 scott pilgrim” “granblue relink” i’m literally going through my history right now and everything in the last 24 hours is just me checking what i might be saying or checking what i was buying from last night.

current obsession: i’m not deeply obsessed with it right now but my active interest is still durarara at the moment, still thinking of and not finishing a bunch of things i want to do for it and last night was a deep shopping spree for mostly durarara merch. i do get like, pretty invested in some of the games connor plays in the moment though, like super mario rpg went hard (such a charming game) and still thinking about detective grimoire which he played for like 10 minutes i wish he’d play for more. i do just watch that guy a lot. i’ve also got genshin back in the schedule again (sorry) and am pretty into the card game, which oddly enough is making me feel like reading some fic.

i am afraid to tag mutuals that apparently follow me because i barely post anything on here like you said but we should harass @euclidpaws more into posting too because i haven’t seen them say a word. @rosa-maltz @stray-tori i talk to you guys enough and we are registered mutuals you can do this if you want.

reblog hibiya amamiya kgpr critai ahhhh it's been dayyys idk how i can do all of them >_< i really want to try though because i really like these aaa i'm also just trying to get back into the habit of tagging anyways this composition!! i just find the layered crosswalks thing sooo cool that drafting you went through was so worth it because this way of portraying the loop feels so visually intuitive and unique ughhhh just yeah the crosswalk is already a major daze symbol but presenting it here in this repeated toppling manner is just !! really emphasises the feeling of endlessly trying to get to the other side and not *that* other side and winding the poles and stuff through the crosswalks?? idkkkk how to articulate it but i looove that visualising how the loops are all so intertwined with each other and everything starts to blend in you miss one threat you get hit by another and that first threat still comes back the next loop and every one after it the varied poses of each of the hibiyas with fresh ways to die the first hibiya falling into the loops with the nice inclusion of the clock and phone from the og pv the descending into the shadows (very cool) the kitty!! just watching perched on the side second last hibiya looking like he actually tried to go off the course of the crosswalk but it still manages to keep him there the last hibiya curled up!! so cuuuute and sadd :( the little moon and stars down there as the little hopeful not to otsukimi i like that it's ceiling glow decor coloured gives it childlike whimsy also really like that you emulated this particular style sidu has used for certain arts idk what it's referred to the one with the character's dominant colour you know what i mean

reblog drrr so fun shizaya izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima so cute <3 so shape i drafted this up at like 4 am almost two weeks ago but just got around to reading through it again so i could actually share it had to trim a little to fit into the tag limit but you didn't miss much it was mostly just combining some and removing redundancies this cartoony style is so fun and cute to me!! the way you drew their hair with izaya's all thin greasy strands and shizuo's go poof it's such a simple and clean way to distinguish them from each other and i really like all the ways you create that distinct visual contrast between them like in the shape of their legs which i already find very satisfying to look at just on their own but izaya's are more straight and blocky while shizuo's are rounded and have this smooth curved flow to them it's fun!! also usually people give shizuo the more square shape language so it's cool to see the inverse which gives off the vibe of a more loose and free flowing sense of movement to me and i can see the vision with the way his body tends to just move without thought izaya's a lot more deliberate with his movements and the squares give a more uh frenetic? energy idk but he looks like he could jump around real fast also the way his feet are so thin and sharp makes him looks nimble the cute line of izaya's shirt beneath the flat shape of the coat which you make look very nice btw and the loose loose curves for shizuo's crossed arms i like the way you drew their poses if you haven't figured lol and izaya's maaaassive coat fluff around the collar!! i greatly enjoy the stylisation last but not least the eyes which are sooo fun to me!! izaya's big ol' gazers full of mischief and curiosity and shizuo's one sharp line for the eyebrow is such a look their expressions are so cute

reblog drrr shizaya izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima soultiio shizayaweek2023 woww i really do like your art in pencil it works especially well for these guys too ooh this is a fun composition i like how all the elements are laid out a bit scrapbook-like creates a nice vibe the eyes are prettyy i love the way you did them staring into each other with such deep opposing convictions the first frame has the most tender shizuo <3 he looks so tired all bloodied up i love the close-up frame it's very pretty with shizuo's lips parted over the cigarette and izaya's hand so bird bones i like how the frame is tilted up with the movement of it and like it throws him off kilter something about shizuo in izaya's hand blood all over his face in trying to save him but in the end the blood is still on izaya's the tumbling words “until you have to do it again” have a nice flow the hooded izaya there looking very cute and breakable i appreciate the details in the tags i'm curious as to where you might bring this as a story hm even if shizuo managed to save izaya and they grow old together would dying at that point still reset the timeline and force shizuo to relive this process all over again? would it hurt even more having lived happier endings that you're forced to bear the burden of remembering alone?

reblog drrr shizaya h izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima (it doesn’t work) potatofu hello y es they look so suaaave who dressed them because it wasn't shizuo or izaya izaya's outfit looks so *drama* i like his little springy pose it cute and shizuo e's got class the way they sort of look like they're curving into each other idk how to describe it i love the comic hsdgsdghshd whatever order it's in it's hilarious also how it almost looks like shizuo is trying to block the sound of izaya's thinking by sinking into his pillow just late hour insomnizaya things i love his expression here and the way their hair has just the right balance of soft and messy it all looks very adorable shizuo went back to sleep after that he is not having any of izaya's shit right now alright take two feat. all the musings izaya's been simmering on for the past many hours no he does not shut up no izaya you're definitely a sherlock you're both so annoying i like the implication that his idea came from shizuo's dream of becoming a detective like post-ketsu after making amends with him and considering moving away from the line of work he's always pursued and after ruminating for hours being stuck under his boyfriend he decides that he'll take a shot at making his dream come true and be part of it of course ya too bad shizuo's other apparent dream (a peaceful life) is currently impossible with izaya around him with his little cane and suspendees talking shizuo's ear off about everything and nothing at all

reblog drrr comic shizaya a cheap imitation shigaeru this monstrous shizuo panel looks so raw the textures and shadows and hatching and cool collar flowing in the wind!! this izaya pose split between panels also has a nice theatre kid energy to it i like the vibe little shizuo rolling up his sleeves stomping over ready for a fight so cute <3 hey the way these next two panels of izaya flow is really nice i can imagine the weighty way he sort of swings his head back up the kind of movement you'd put in an amv the dialogue leading into an empty page is cooool and the little specks of black with the flow are a great touch ahh your shizuos are the best i love his rage and the way his collar sort of emotes with it have i shown my appreciation for continuing to draw the cut izaya got on his arm yet? big fan of the way izaya looks a little limp when shizuo grabs at him been thinking about ch31 shizuo grabbing izaya's wrist midair and holding it up while izaya looks at him with the soggiest expression anyways this is the first time shizuo's actually properly holding izaya and not just pulling at his clothes so your raijin redraws are all rizzed up shizuo is the cutest and izaya's the smarmiest the panel of them from the side is so shape <33 i know that little finger prod shook him to his bones they already feel weird without shizuo's strength the shizuo L panel shdgshd “ok fuck!” the little shizuo here haha oh my goddd seeing the next panel again is crazy because i had that as my discord pfp for a while back when i first fell into this hole obviously i think they look really cute there and the monochromes over them are pretty <3 izaya's blank shock !! shizuo's hand there is also looks really gentle ahh nice sentiment shizuo but he's definitely still fucked up over it and now you're being really weird sooo keep it up king :) the izayas in these last two pages are incredibly <3333 i love how extremely *crumpled* he looks!! the last expression we see from him and the gangly armed poses and the way he puts his hood up the way shizuo looks at him though shdsgs i get why it sounds so stupid to izaya

durarara WHAT WILL HE DO can you tell? izaya orihara i made a thing Here he comes! 🎵 this was originally a squid game redraw of course not there is not a game of squid to be perceived but you’re pretty cool if you can figure out where it was directly referenced from sorry if people are sick and tired of hearing about that show again but uhhh there might be more where that came from i kind of gave up on the initial idea here when i realised i wouldn’t be able to draw the shizuo so now it’s just izaya but you can assume he’s looking at shizuo that was the intention he's also walking backwards haha i’ve got mixed feelings about this one whenever i go on about izaya's coat jacket whatever in the reblog tags i really do mean it spent an unreasonable amount of time trying to get the fluff to look a way i like it then 10x multiplied trying to figure out the shading on and around the poofy sleeve and i'm still not totally satisfied with it i simply cannot compute zoom in on the face though that part is nice i really like how i drew him there this is like my third proper attempt at both shading and colours feels like there's too much going on but not enough at the same time i just kind of experimented with a ton of random colours and techniques that i thought looked neat in other people's art i couldn't really commit to anything i threw on it though but we all have to start somewhere right i've worked on it enough it's time to release him into the wild that's enough serious attempts at colours for a while i think
