ian is so the type to never waste an opportunity to be annoying about their hight difference like Mickey's shoulder is basically his arm rest

this is so so so canon idc im convinced ian ENJOYS that height difference, maybe he makes a joke about it sometimes but he normally just quietly thinks it's cute

oh, and mickey adores it too like really really adores it. the fact that he can literally hide when ian hugs him makes him feel safe
