“She is ninja. She is death itself”
objectively hilarious that they chose the dynamic of agatha and rio to have agatha holding the power AND wanting rio to leave her the fuck alone because it couldve so easily been a "i am killing all these people to forcefully get the attention of the cold distant force of death that i am in love with" but it is instead "killing is my most favorite hobby ever, only downside is that it constantly reveals my location to my bitch ex wife who keeps begging me to get back together"
just hawkeye things✨
[ID: a digital drawing of Clint barton from the waist up. He’s singing the circle of life from the lion king and holding his dog (lucky) above his head. lucky looks like a golden retriever/labrador dog and he’s wearing a light purple bandanna.
Clint is wearing gray sweatpants, a red hoodie with a silver star in middle, and he has a bandage wrapped around his left hand and across his nose. his bright purple hearings aids are wrapped around his ears and he has a huge grin on his face]
Coulson claps his hands, the resulting smack echoing around the abandoned subway tunnel. “I now bring this meeting of the Highly Advanced Prosthetic Arms Club to order!”
It is my headcanon that there is a gun on the table in this scene because The Winter Soldier has been trained to arm any of his handlers who are not already armed while in his presence so that, if they so choose, they can put him down at any time.
Later, it takes Steve months to figure out why Bucky gives him a knife every time they’re in the same room.
if 2024 sam wilson met 2014 sam wilson i fear it would be one of the funniest things ever
2024 sam: “so yeah, we help save the world and overcome many challenges as well as become captain america and go on to inspire millions despite the odds. also steve is lowkey dead and nat sacrificed herself”
2014 sam:
2014 sam: and the guy who ripped out the steering wheel on the highway?
2024 sam: congress
Enough of the trope where memory loss undoes the damage or the corruption or whatever. More content where removing memories just removes the context.
The tragedy of needing to grieve and not knowing what or who you lost or why. The angst of having trauma and being denied the awareness that it's trauma. The suspense of being different somehow and left to wonder how and when. The tension of knowing that something is off and you can't find where it hurts. The Adventure Zone gets it. Kingdom Hearts gets it.
There is an aching inside you and you don't know how it got there.
The difference between Steve and Tony in CA:CW will always boil down to this:
Tony stands up to authority because he was born into immense wealth and privilege and has never had to answer to anyone. He defies authority because he knows he'll never have to face actual consequences for doing so.
Steve stands up to authority because he was born into poverty and grew up a poor, disabled Irish-American during the Great Depression. He defies authority because he knows what it's like to be dismissed, undervalued, and disenfranchised and never wants anyone to face that.
Tony pushed for the accords because he knew he could just break them and nothing would happen to him (which is exactly how it went down).
Steve refused to sign the accords because he would never sign away his human rights and the rights of other people to an authority he knew would abuse them (which, again, is exactly what happened).
So in a way, they were both right about the accords. Tony was just also infinitely more wrong.
