Heya, You Know That Rhythm Game Friday Night Funkin?

Why is it so hard to come up with a backstory for my OC? I guess I will just keep drawing his cute stupid face until I have an idea.

Here doodles no. 3 and 4. Let's see what happens first, me coming up with a valid idea for his backstory or me drawing him 100 times.

I just got an idea of maybe expanding his powers to trap specific coordinates into a card and then being able to carry them around and place them somewhere else. That's quite a cool idea. (Just need to be careful to not copy Yishu's powers.)

Note: I still don't know if I like the noses in profile-view ...

I'm doing an art challange this month with the theme:

Future Fantasy

Figured I could draw one of my OCs again, was looking through old stuff for a specific reference but couldn't find it ... instead found something else and I have another idea. I'm simply going to recycle one of my Undertale OCs who never made it.

And I kinda came up with this:

Since I forgot to post a picture of the sketch before erasing, I thought: maybe I'll just post my coloring process instead. But guess who forgot to take a picture again.

Jupp. So moving past the first stage to the second. First off, I layed out the base colors but only with minimal pressure. Now I drew in the shadows with a darker pencil and also minimal pressure. Next, it's about to slowly make the colors more vibrant and mix differnt layers of colors to get the exact one I need.

And yes, I did forget about the scar again but added it just after this post.

And if anyone needs a tip on how to get vibrant colors with pencils, start with minimal pressure and keep layering more and more. In the end you can go over the color with more pressure.

Okay, I stopped working on the previous sketch since something about it was not right. I'm not sure what but it felt weird and I didn't like it.

Instead I moved on to the next one. Sadly, I forgot to make a picture of the sketch before slightly erasing but I wanted to show it nethertheless. So, here's Eijiro in his hero costume

I really managed to keep drawing the first chapter of a story with my OCs. It's really not that big of a deal, but a huge leap towards my dream <3

but I don't know who. I need to train expressions and wanted to do the "25 Essential Expressions" challenge but I don't know who to draw. So I thought: Hey, this could be a cool idea to let somebody else decide!

And a fun fact about me: I never really manage to get into the late-game stuff, because I restart way too often. So the strongest tools I ever get, are iron😂

Sometimes I think it's insane what I can remember. I wanted to draw a specific screencap I saw some time ago on pinterest (probably about half a year ago) AND I STILL REMEMBERED THE EXACT IMAGE! (I didn't give up searching until I found it again) Glad I finally found it.

(And then I think about the moments I'm standing in the kitchen and don't know anymore what I wanted a minute ago)

Geez, I completley forgot I did this some time ago ... how did I even do this?

I was lately thinking about, how cool it would be to sing against all of the sanses...

... yeah, I guess I have a new obsession...

(also lately got a little into drawing models for animation and the process of organized drawing is kind of satisfying)
