don’t be scared to live lovingly. compliment your friends on the little things and cheer for live bands in small cafes and leave tips when you can. tell the person you saw that you really like their shirt and write cards and letters to the people you love. make playlists for people and don’t be afraid to express your appreciation for others. life is so much better when you live it with love.
You have zero control over the actions of another person. You can only control how you react and respond. Don't worry yourself over what others think and do, you can't change them. Just as long as you're moving in alignment, and living authentically, things will work out for you. Let people exist as themselves.
I think one of the goals of society should be that someone who requires expensive medicine and a lot of care can live an amazing life, the longest life they possibly can, with dignity, even if they have no friends or family or anyone who cares enough about them to help. the goals of a society should be to make life better than if we are alone, society should want life to be as good as possible for as many people as possible, and those goals should account for people not having social support networks.
I think constant happiness comes from gratitude. Appreciate the little things in life and you will find yourself surrounded by blessings.
If you’re unhappy with who you are, view yourself as a foundation. You will expand, you will grow and you will reassess, while also realizing that who you are is necessary to who you’re becoming, and that there’s an inherent goodness inside of you already. It’s okay to start from where you are, with who you are.
