This song is our relationship song. People would think that our relationship is weird and yes, it is weird. We are polar opposites but here we are, dating. I can imagine it to be rough, we have arguments once in a while and act like we won‘t see each other again, but we forgive each other in the end. As the song says, “Hey now, we’ll be okay” and we would say that a lot. Everything always works out in the end, and we both love each other in our own, weird ways. i picture the two of us walking down a street together; hand in hand, with the bitter frost tickling our noses. it’s snowy. freezing, almost. though his words are enough to provide warmth. a match will light up in my heart; a casual day of shopping down the street. snowcones are shared, same with bits of hot chocolate. has to have little marshmallows because dazai says “they look like tiny shrimp”, and we buy matching sweaters—whilst throwing jokes at each other. intimacy. could’ve sworn dazai was touch-starved; cuddly hugs were definitely shared.

I agree, it’s annoying to be a tumbler writer, but it’s also fun! There’s positives and negatives and I would like to help make light of this (because it’s true and people need to see this ^^

first of all, none of you fucking care to reblog our work. we are all aware of how tumblr's algorithm is absolute trash. writers have been BEGGING for readers reblog their works bc it's the only way our works can be seen and in turn, we receive the fruits of our labor via followers and exposure. but no, lets make MORE THAN HALF of the likes to reblog ratios consist of fucking LIKES. on top of that, we don't we shit on writers for wanting the absolute BARE MINIMUM aka a REBLOG bc well, they're not entitled to it aren't they? while writers aren't necessarily entitled to notes, answer this; do you work for free? do you bust your ass doing something knowing that there will be no pay off what so ever? that's what i thought.

secondly, you treat us like shit. you expect us to spit out content like we're a machine and when we don't get to it on time bc we have - idk - LIVES, you send the shittiest asks demanding for more content that you aren't even paying for. do you think people are gonna neglect their real life responsibilities to write for YOU and for FREE? absolutely not. on top of that, when we start writing for ourselves and our own spaces, we get push back. yea, not an effective way to encourage your favorite fic writers to give you more content to consume.

and lastly, YOU STEAL FROM US. each and every fic that a writer puts out has taken hours, days, weeks, or even months to write. that's lots of hard work and time invested into one single piece for you. free of charge. people put their fucking hearts into their work. and what do you do in return? disrespect them in one of the most hurtful ways possible.

so yea, i don't blame a single fucking person for leaving this shithole and NONE of you should be surprised. this is YOUR doing.

Up all Night (Akitoya fanfic in honor of my insomnia haha)

||heyyyy guys! I decided to say screw sleep, and I am now doing a fic instead! Is it going to be me projecting a little? Yeah, definitely. Based of a song? Yep! Also, this one is a hurt with no comfort for my angst lovers out there ;)||

It was another restless night for Akito. With headphones in, playing the same song on loop, Toya sleeping beside him. The faint glow of the computer lit up the otherwise pitch black room. The faint sound of typing also filled the room with the occasional sound of a car zooming by.

Akito often found it extremely difficult to rest, even though his tired body begged for it. Perhaps it was the caffeine he consumes daily is the issue? Either way, all he thought about was to create. Create something, leave behind something to be remembered by. Something for someone, anyone, to be proud of. Akito continued to type, tired olive-green eyes glued to the computer screen on his lap. Hours passed, before he knew it, he reached 4 am. No sign of sleep. “Akito?” A voice called out, sleepy and concerned nevertheless. Akito, snapping out of his trance, looked at the source of the voice. It was Toya, looking at Akito with concern etched on his face. His face…so beautiful…so hand- “Akito?” He calls out again, causing Akito to snap out of his train of thought, responding gruffly with a “Hm?” “Why are you awake? I’m not mad, I’m just concerned…” The blue haired male asked his partner. “I…got carried away” Akito confesses. “Akito…” “Yeah, I know…I can’t sleep” Akito responds with a sigh. “I’ll go back to sleep” The ginger says, a part of him hating himself for lying to his lover. Toya thought nothing of it, going back to sleep. Akito ended up working the rest of the night.
