I hate queer discourse so much.
people are saying that it's "bad to support Maia (the no fly list leaker) because it's a bi lesbian"
literally none of this matters at all. queer discourse is a fake issue ment to distract you from actual bigotry and issues that affect the lives of queer people, and make you think that your enemies are other queer people.
think for five fucking seconds. this person just exposed national secrets (which should not have been secret in the first place). she is now going to be the target of thousands of people, transphobes, us nationalist, feds, and people who were exposed for being on the no fly list. are you seriously going to the people harassing it because it uses a label you were told you should hate?
I'm not saying you have to love this person. you don't even have to agree with her. but saying it's bad because of a label that literally no one has a problem with or even cares about offline is fucking stupid. either be happy for it, or ignore it. don't go out of your way to join in her harassment because of a label you hate for no reason other than people told you that you should.
If you think Animal rights activists, Climate activists are going too far, you should know you can't defeat evil by knocking on the door. People with power aren't gonna turn good because you tweet stuff or write a blog.
Words matter I am not denying that, I am a decent person today because of the word I have read. But corruption doesn't go away only with words because actions are far more powerful.
One rich person holds more power & wealth than thousand poor people. You only saying stuff doesn't do any good, not really.
Capitalists only cares about profit, they will do anything to gain profits. But we can change that if we gather ourselves, remember a million ants can kill an elephant.
Wanna change the world? Create political groups, rallies, and protests. Politics is for everyone, that's where everything happens. You should not let random rich arseh0le dictate your future.

Sometimes you have a really dumb idea, and you just gotta go with it.
Ko-fi Link.
I don't know who told straight people that queer people only deserve representation in shows that are centered on being queer and the queer experience, but whoever told them that, I am coming for you because if I have to read one more person saying "Stranger Things isn't gay just go watch Heartstopper or whatever", I'm gonna start blowing things up.
Queer people deserve to have representation in EVERY genre. Not just shows like Young Royals and Heartstopper and whatnot. Sometimes, I don't wanna watch shows like that and I just wanna watch a cool fucking sci-fi horror that has a really elaborate plot and I deserve to feel seen and represented in those genres. Straight people are represented in every single genre and it's seen as completely normal to include cishet relationships in EVERYTHING...why can't queer people get the same?? Why do we not deserve the same treatment?? Why do I have to be stuck watching shows that are only about being queer and nothing else?? Why don't I get cool sci-fi plots with my queer ships?? Like what the fuck bro that ain't fair.
I think the thing that drives me the most batshit about the medical fatphobia conversation is that the burden of proof feels so exactly backwards. Just from an obvious best practices standpoint???
Things like intentional malnourishment, intentionally incapacitating vital organs through surgery, denial of potentially lifesaving medical care until those things are done, etc.
Those are all pretty extreme. The kinds of things it feels like a “first do no harm” system should have a lot of solid evidence for before recommending or implementing them.
But they’re so bog standard and accepted and everyone from doctors to your own family will look at you like you’re a flat-earther when you suggest maybe we shouldn’t be defaulting to that.

sorry professor I could not do this assignment. there are fictional characters in my head.
The people who get angry at Will for not stepping in when El was getting bullied really know nothing about trauma responses do they??
It was literally confirmed in s2 with Will's episodes that he has a mix of freeze responses and flight responses when faced with things he perceives as dangerous. El's bullies reminded him of his bullies and his brain perceived them as dangerous so he froze and locked up. That isn't his fault. That is just his trauma response. He's not a bad brother for not stepping in and beating up El's bullies. And it's clear how much he loves El and how heartbroken he felt for her. When she had her project ruined, he ran up to her crying and promising they'd fix it together.
Will is not a bad brother. Y'all just don't understand PTSD or anything about trauma and stress responses.
i was watching a deep sea documentary and these underwater cameras found a bigfin squid hovering ominously in the vast, crushing darkness. it was really fun hearing the scientists talk over the footage like “what’s that?” “o-oh looks like a squid haha” like with audible tension til they got a clearer shot. i could hear them trying to logic through and reason “surely that’s not something horrible” in real time in their voices. meanwhile the squid’s just hovering there like an evil marionette master
