chuuya bursts in again like "WHY IS THAT BASTARD DAZAI'S NEW PARTNER SO TALL AND WHO EVEN GROWS OUT THEIR HAIR LIKE THAT WHY DID DAZAI GET A HANDSOME PARTNER WHY NOT ME"

and after a bit of that akutagawa bursts in again "I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I THREATENED THE WERETIGER BUT HE JUST GIGGLED AND NOW I HAVE A DATE"

and then after a few hours of that he tries to relax and tachihara bursts in like "I LIKE GIN DOES THAT MEAN IM GAY"

and after a few hours of that-

Conor is 15 and was adopted at age 7 by accident. How do you adopt someone by accident, you may ask? Well he was found breaking into Colm Fahey’s barn and the man took one look at the scrawny little energetic red head, and decided he did not want another son but was perfectly fine with a grandson. So he loaded Conor up and took him to Ketterdam, where he was promptly given to Wylan and Jesper.

Conor is an artist like his Papa, but most of his work is a little… psychedelic in nature. He enjoys not talking about his past, “working” the bar at the Crow Club, stealing his Papa’s cigarettes, and jumping on his Da.

Ok I promise that I'll shut the fuck up about the dog metaphor after this but: Kaz being Haskell's rabid dog and Jesper being Aditi's little rabbit is honestly diabolical..... what do dogs do but chase rabbits and what do rabbits do but flee dogs. Kaz is chasing an image of Jordie he's never going to be able to catch, and Jesper will never let himself be caught, because that would mean facing up to... A lot of things! and honestly he's probably worried about what the hell Kaz would do if he did catch him! so they keep running, and maintain the weird distance and impasse between them. and unless Kaz can learn to drop that persona, that's how it has to be. and honestly. what the fuck.

so i was googling the grishaverse world building(as one does, do not judge me)

and i found out that kaelish people think that grisha blood has medical properties, so they kill grisha to drink their blood

my jaw actually dropped, mainly due to the realization that colm fahey is kaelish. so, um… sir. your people think drinking your wife and child’s blood is a good idea.

idk i think every grisha and otkazat’sya couple in the grishaverse is interesting bc basically everyone has weird, convoluted beliefs about grisha. but they’re able to see past those beliefs and fall in love anyway.
