More than enough people encouraged my rambling so I’m excited to present to you my time traveling concept/OU (original universe)!! Honestly I have no idea how to format this so I’m just gonna word vomit lol. Hopefully I’ll be better at putting my thoughts together coherently when/if I get asks about everyone!

Okay so super basically a bunch of college kids end up stumbling into an old lab on a closed off side of their campus (it’s very old so certain areas were closed off) being bored, tipsy and nosy they decide to snoop around and find a weird machine. Despite being warned by the smartest of the bunch (Nicole) to leave it tf alone. They don’t and it ends up shrouding the room in a bright light. One thing leads to another and they’re met with 4 people that definitely weren’t there before!

🍁 language changes. bisexuality was first officially ‘defined’ by a (presumably cishet) white male academic in the 19th century. it was initially described as the attraction to “both sexes”. at the time “official” sexuality terminologies were very much sex orientated and did not accomodate the gender spectrum. but, as this was a general term used by certain people who had multiple gender attraction, it has continued to mean the attraction to multiple genders, not just always limited to two genders or specifically men and women. 🍁

🌠 see above. it can accommodate the whole gender spectrum, including all genders. people can be transphobic and it sucks but bisexuality is not a blanket transphobic sexuality 🌠

💙 no, see the above definitions. a bisexual could be attracted to people across the whole gender spectrum and a pansexual could also be attracted to people across the whole gender spectrum. this isn’t as complicated as some people make it: respect someone’s label. if someone says they are bisexual, no matter your LGBT+ “status”, this isn’t an invitation to ask for their sex history, their “attraction list” or anything else unless they openly provide it. believe bisexuals: they have probably considered and struggled with these feelings a lot in the past without you questioning their sexuality 💙

Hey everyone!! I’m curious, I tend to do tons of reposting (I’m shy and new here 😔) but I do have some original content that I’d like to share, although my designs are rooted in Gacha life 2 (I can’t draw so it’s the only way I can visualize them) would people be interested in them? Because I’d love a place to talk about them, though it’d suck talking to a brick wall lol 😅

when jason died, they buried him with the possessions that he carried on him all the time. there was a pocket knife tucked into his sock, the bracelet on his wrist from catherine that he never took off, a tangled pair of earbuds in his back pocket, and, in the top pocket of his jacket, the cellphone that bruce bought for him after he was adopted.

that cellphone stayed with jason in his grave. went with him when he dug his way out. somehow stayed on his person when he was taken by the league, and he managed to convince talia to let him keep it throughout all his training.

he doesn’t know why, maybe as a grief thing or maybe just because bruce forgot and it’s not like the bill effected him in any way, but he never stopped paying jason’s phone bill. his number’s still active, still working after all this time. even weirder, but dick started adopting the tradition of adding his dead brother’s phone number to each and every family group chat any of them created after ethiopia. again, jason doesn’t know why. maybe it was dick’s way of carrying his memory with them; including him in family conversations even if they all thought the number was connected to a long buried phone in the pocket of a long dead boy.

the point is that jason wasn’t dead any more. and all throughout his time at the league, he gets to watch the family chats. the mission statuses, the arguments, the rapid spiral every chat went through where they started off using it as a serious bat communication centre only for dick or tim to send a meme and instantly spiral into nothing but chaos that bruce would neither take part in or attempt to stop. jason spectates it all, always fingering the keypad but never actually typing out a message. he came close when there was a heated debate between steph and dick about the best donut types and he knew they were both absolutely fucking wrong, but luckily tim came in to educate them on the right choice last second and jason was saved from having to reveal himself.

the closest call was when little damian got a hold of his phone, attracted to the bright colours of the block game jason had been absently playing out of boredom while ra’s droned on about whatever had pissed him off that day. he’d let the kid play, sat on his lap and eagerly jabbing at the screen, and jason had only looked away for at most a minute before he’d turned back to find the screen open on the family chat, damian having accidentally clicked on the camera button and taken a selfie of the two that he’d been about to send through. luckily, jason deleted it in time, but he became much more careful about letting the kid play with his shit after that.

this is all just a long winded explanation and backstory for and au i think would be funny where jason’s reveal is literally just him deciding to fuck with his family by randomly dropping in through text like:

Angela McCoy’s Backstory

Sept 16th 2025

8:30pm

Angela walked back to her dorm, avoiding the girls in the hallway in hopes of not having to talk to any of them. Invisible. That’s what she was, Angela like it that way. It was comfortable not have to worry about being on everyone’s minds. Sure it meant she didn’t really have friends and that she didn’t go to parties or well anywhere for that matter but she was fine.

Walking inside she closed the door and made a beeline for the desk, putting her newest sticker in its place on her laptop she smiled. Angel loved her stickers, she often collected different ones but her favorites were her Spider-Man stickers. She loved the different spider men and women and their suits, she’d even started making her own. Not that it was any good yet but It definitely was something. She changed out of her wretched uniform into one of her favorite hoodies and leggings.

She hated being in the dorms, way to loud for her liking so she grabbed headphones and left hands in her pockets. She walked to who knows where, doing something similar everyday.

Angela liked walking to her hearts content, it let her clear her head, it helped her think. How did she get here? One day she’s down at Manhattan middle the next she’s at this fancy boarding school. She doesn’t really fit in and all her old friends live in her neighborhood. She only visits on the weekends and then her mom drives her back to visionary. Not that she wanted to go back.

Soon enough she’d come across a patch of wildflowers. Making a bouquet of Aster, Yarrow, Columbine and Chicory she failed to notice the mouse spider that crept up her thigh. The spider moved slowly, staying out of her peripheral vision it climbed up her sleeve. Up, up, up it went, crawling into her hoodie it bit her. “What the hell?” She muttered as she slapped her neck, killing the spider with relative ease. Rubbing her neck and grimacing at her hand she stood up and tied her bouquet with a hair tie she found in her pocket. “I can give these to Esther.” She mused, knowing the old woman would love the gift.

Starting on her way to miss Esther’s house she ignored how odd she felt. Knocking on the door she put on her best smile, she wasn’t unhappy often she just didn’t smile much. Where’s that beautiful smile of yours hunny? Miss Esther would ask. The kind elderly woman opened the door “Angel my love how are you?” The woman cocked her head and smiled her kind smile. Miss Esther is Angela’s current guardian, she’s had atleast three but they didn’t like her much.

As angel walked inside as could smell the okra in the kitchen. That’s weird she thought. Okra doesn’t smell that strong. She brushed it off, ignoring the odd sensation her other senses seemed to be going through. After an hour the throbbing of her head, the strong smells, loud noises and bright lights she said her goodbyes and ran back to visionary. she just needed to take some Tylenol and go to bed, she’d be alright in the morning.

***The next morning***

Sept 17th 2025

6:15am

“Mnn..” she groaned as she rolled over, entangling herself more in her comforter. Angela swatted the alarm off the desk and rubbed her eyes, pulling herself from the bed she noticed her roommate Diane wasn’t there. Must’ve left already she shrugged. Putting on her uniform she noticed that her shirt seemed..bigger? Odd. Still she put it on and went about her day, grabbing her backpack she walked out of the room and down the hall.

Noticing her crush she smiled a little “maybe I should say hi.” She mumbled as she hyped herself up and went over “Marcus! Hi- um how are you today?” She cringed at how awkward she sounded talking to him. Marcus smiled at her “hey ange long time no see huh? I’m good what about you? Still collecting stickers?” Marcus remembered her stickers! That’s so sweet, Angela and Marcus went to grade school together. They were the best of friends, but Angel Isn’t very good at keeping stable friendships. They drifted apart and she stopped talking to him, it was to embarrassing honestly.

As always the conversation short and sweet, Marcus waved goodbye and went to leave only for angel to grab his shoulder. “Is something wrong ange?” He tried to pull away but to no avail as she was dragged along with him. “No I just wanted to ah-..” she went quiet as she struggled with removing her hand from his jacket. The two continued to struggle, growing more frustrated and embarrassed as time progressed before finally Marcus yanked away hard enough to rip his jacket sleeve. The two teenagers said nothing as they walked separate directions.

She ran to the roof, not knowing where else to go. Climbing the stairs she’d heard her name yelled, looking back her eyes widened a yelp ripped from her as she ran. “Go away go away go away go away!” She repeated as she ran, making it out she slammed the door and locked it.’

One of my fave lil headcanons (arguably unoriginal) is people outside of Gotham always being surprised at how fucking MASSIVE Batman is because they’ve only ever seen him on the news when he’s fighting The Big Bad or standing next to Superman and/or Wonder Woman who are literally beyond human capabilities of height and muscle.

so obviously, 6’5, impossibly jacked Bruce Wayne looks about 5’10 and lean next to an overpowered alien and their resident Amazonian. Not to say he isn’t still intimidating, however, because even the other two couldn’t hide Bruce’s overwhelming broodiness, but definitely not BIG.

As such, whenever Bruce is on ground control, it’s not uncommon for civilians who were previously running and screaming for their lives to get scooped up by the bat and go for an impromptu grappling hook adventure away from the chaos. Then, as they turn around, overwhelmed with gratitude, they just. Freeze. Hearts stopped. They have to crane their necks to make eye contact with lifeless white lenses. It seems like the shadows curl around their savior and bend to his command. Their mouths go dry and their legs shake in fear without them realizing.

and suddenly, as quickly as he came, Batman vanishes back into the fray, and the civilians have to take a minute to themselves before they start running again to simply process that was short, scrawny Batman. The same Batman that barely reaches Wonder Woman’s chin.

And the worst part? They have to go on GOTHAM chat rooms after to cope because no one else outside of New Jersey believes that Batman is as terrifying as he actually is

"you're the writer, you control how the story goes" no not really. i wrote the first sentence and then my characters said "WE WILL TAKE IT FROM HERE" and promptly swerved into an electrical fence.
