POV: You're Starscream.
i keep seeing misinformation about this, so: queerplatonic relationships do not have a set definition. the name comes from the idea that it's "queering" the platonic relationship, tailoring it to the individual relationships' own desires. it isn't necessarily romance lite, but it also isn't necessarily whatever definition you want to impose on it. the point of queering the platonic relationship is to break away from strict allonormative views on friendship, romance, and sex, not to make a new categorical box to fit in.
the answer to "what is a qpr?" is "whatever you want it to be." sometimes that is romance lite. sometimes it's a deeply committed friendship. sometimes it's friends who have a sexual relationship. sometimes it's based on an entirely different mode of attraction. sometimes it's fluid and impossible to put into words. it's whatever you want it to be. it's queer.

people tend to forget we're real beings too. just because our stories are out for anyone to see doesn't mean you know us personally. keep your thoughts to yourself and treat us humanely. 💢
Organics
Cybertron has a very mixed opinion on organics as a whole. Due to their mechanical nature they are adverse to much of organic culture, but have a surprising amount of similarities to some organic species. They tend to adopt organic culture, which will spread and adapt to a mechanical  lifestyle.
Organics themselves aren’t received very well the general public, and any ambassadors, traders, or visitors tend to stick to the respective areas that house them.
Well of Sparks
The well of sparks is a central religious hub in Iacon, contained in the Primal Basilica, which also doubles as a religious artefact museum. The section of the building itself is open roofed, exposing the well to the elements. Pre-war, the well is where the all spark was located, which got ejected to optimus in an effort to preserve the planet. From that point on, no more forged sparks emerged, and the chance to kindle a newspark dropped, making it near impossible during the wartime.Â
Conjunx Endura
While Conjunx Endurae aren’t rare by Cybertronian standards, a lot of bots in most cultures find the level of commitment that comes with being conjunxes too much to consider for a lot of their relationships where they aren’t sure. However, a bot having multiple conjunxes is pretty rare, although not particularly frowned upon when appropriate medical measures are in place, due to the strain on the spark.Â
Sparklings
Sparklings and bots who were sparklings on cybertron make up roughly a quarter of the population. Under functionism, sparklings are seen as a waste of resources and time, when there are more efficient ways to create a bot. In more senate populous cities, less sparklings will be seen about due to public ridicule or fear of functionists toward the sparkling.
Cybertronian Units of Time: a Guide
…concocted by me, via:
Canon Definitions
Most Common Terms Used in Fandom (that I have seen)
Most Common Interpretations of Aforementioned Terms
Math That Makes Those Terms Make Sense Together
Filling in the Blanks With What Sounded Good (to me)
So essentially I began with Cybertronian units with explicit definitions in canon that are also widely used in fandom (ie. Vorn = 83 years, Joor = 6 hours, Groon = 1 hour). I then worked my way out from those and tried to keep to rough factors of 6/8/10.
Some terms that did have explicit canon definitions had to be slightly skewed from their value (ie. Breem: 8 → 6 minutes, Klik: 8 → 6 seconds) if their definition contradicted another definition that made more sense/fit better.Â
At any rate, obviously no one is obligated to use this standard, but canon Transformers content has been unfortunately… awful at establishing any universal units of time, their relationship to each other, or their equivalents to human units of time.
So this occasionally makes fanfiction an absolute nightmare for people like me with a crap memory who don’t want to constantly have to scroll through a thousand pages of the wiki to remind themselves what the hell a groon is.
So, naturally, I simply spent far too long whipping up this at-a-glance guide to keep track of it & on the off chance that the fandom might adopt it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Â
you guys ever have a rough day and suddenly there's 20 more lil silly guys in here ?
