She’s trying to get it into his head, that he’s held her close in her heart all these years. He’s gone through all of this to get to HER. Her husband is not lost, has not been made into a “monster”. 20 years have gone by, and yet he still remembers the blood sweat and tears that went into making their wedding bed.

Last night I had two very very vivid and weird dreams I blame the famous fanfic dark matter for this

My dream is like watching it episode of a TV show I'm just a bystander watching what happens so the dream starts out with Peter Parker in civilian identity being kidnapped with Red Hood because he was just having a conversation with Red Hood in the middle of the night in crime alley So anyway they get kidnapped by this creepy cult that is going to sacrifice them Peter breaks free and immediately breaks Red Hood out of his restraints even though Red Hood could have done it himself he then turns to Red Hood in pure seriousness says "Quick! I need you to kill me Don't ask questions it's all part of the plan Just do it!" So Red Hood without hesitation shoots him in the chest Peter looks down at the bullet wound where it's bleeding looks up and smiles hysterically manic and says "Good start keep going!" Red Hood proceeds to kill Peter and he lays dead for about 3 seconds and then a green Rick and Morty desk desk Rick and Morty-esque portal spawns over his dead body and outcomes Ghost King Danny looking very very confused and very very distraught over Peter's dead body immediately resurrect him and asks what the hell happened Peter then, like a child, points to the cult and says "They did it" and Danny goes on a rampage while Red Hood and Peter look on in impressed horror with classic red and blue 3d movie theater glasses and popcorn and that's where the dream ends I don't know why I had this dream but I did

She slithers over Draco to curl up on top of them, resting her head on his stomach. “You’re warm.”

Nagini hisses angrily, then shifts until she’s curled as much of herself on their legs as she can fit, which is a surprising amount of her, actually. His legs are definitely going to fall asleep like this, but he can’t bring himself to ask her to move.

Theophania doesn’t try to lie on top of them, thank merlin, but she does curl around them, the lights playing off her pretty iridescent scales. “I like snakes,” Draco yawns, snuggling further into Harry’s chest.

“They like you too,” he says, but Draco’s already asleep.

Considering the two snakes and one boyfriend he has on top of him, he’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Harry can’t bring himself to be too upset by it.

Okay, so something I've seen floated a time or 2 from DC is that when using the Lazarus Pits to revive, a person emerges completely healed of all previous injuries or illnesses. Including scars.

Now obviously fandom often plays fast and loose with this rule, given how we like to give Jason an autopsy scar and some folks also like to make him keep the J from the Joker. But let's lean into it a bit here and make it play nice with the DP side of things.

Let's say that it's the ectoplasm, even the rancid stuff in the pits, that heals all scars except Death Scars.

So if Danny was, say, revived in the Pits by Talia before she disappeared him away to an orphanage in Illinois? The Danny that shows up in Amity Park wouldn't be covered in scars from his time in the League. He'd only have the one, the Death Scar.

Similarly, the Danny that stumbles out of the portal wouldn't have any scars from his time in Amity Park. He'd only have 2, the original Death Scar and the new Lichtenberg Death Scars.

Now I've seen it done many times where the Bats/Damian realize that Danny isn't a clone because you can't clone scars. So if Danny doesn't have those scars, and if his DNA is too messed up from the ectoplasm in him to check for any "regular cloning markers"...

Danny, fresh from an autopsy table, runs to Gotham to hide. And because of his inability to walk away from someone in danger, gets found by the Bats. Whether or not they know about Damian's twin beforehand, they are quite confident that Danny is a clone. An exceptionally good clone with nearly perfect implanted memories, but a clone nonetheless. Damian is particularly enraged about this

And poor Danny, already all sorts of fucked up from growing up Damian's lesser, then Dash's punching bag, then an experiment; in the face of Bat certainty and lacking any tangible evidence to the contrary; Danny starts to believe them.

As someone who is convinced that everyone is always mad at me for the smallest slights and secretly hate me, there is nothing more satisfying than the "misassigned blame"/ "misunderstanding" trope when it's done right

I don't want misunderstandings based on romance drama. I want to see everyone assuming Character has done (terrible thing) and acting according, only to realise Character is ACTUALLY the real victim in this situation and has never done anything wrong ever and actually deserves all the love and kindness in the world and now they need to go and apologise/ grovel for treating Character coldly. Everyone collectively deciding Character is free of blame and actually so strong for withstanding so much and needs to be showered with love/ care?? That's the real wish fulfilment, babey !!

Ok, so you know how there are sooo many adaptations of what’s happened in history? First thing that comes to mind is “Horrible Histories” that aired on CBBC (side note:: if you loved HH, you are literally my best friend, it was my favourite show), and how they take things that happened all the way back, and add a little whimsy to it.

A little laughter. A little silliness. You get the point.

I!! I headcannon that in the DC universe all of DP happened thousands of years ago. And then there is a show. It’s called “Danny Phantom” and it takes what happened thousands of years ago, with a freak lightning accident that “created” the first hero. (Scientists wonder if this was how MetaHumans came about. They’re— not wrong, exactly)

Except. This is the DC Universe. Where people do stupid stuff on a daily, and mad scientists can be found at a school lab.

So, one of the people high up (a producer? A director? Someone who’s VERY tired and is just looking for some authenticity in this project because it’s literally what they did their dissertation on—) decides to do something that seems reasonable at the time.

They summon the very person (being?) that they are basing this on.
