Phoenix: Ah, my favourite day. She slides in smoothly, placing the papers onto Phoenix's desk and handing him a comically large pen. Trucy: Your papers, sir. Phoenix: Thank you kindly. Anything interesting? Trucy: Oh, same old same old — you could sign them with your eyes closed! Phoenix raises a hand to cover his eyes, grinning. Phoenix: Oh? Don't mind if I do. Trucy: Ha-ha! Phoenix: Ha-ha! Trucy: Oh, Daddy, you're so— A close-up of Phoenix signing the papers; Trucy's eyes narrow at the sight, cold. Trucy: —silly.
2nd page of the comic. This page is drawn with dramatic lighting; Trucy and Phoenix's faces are obscured by the harsh lighting. 1 month later, Trucy once again enters Phoenix's office, though with a more reserved mood. She has her arms clasped behind her back. On her left ear is a glinting diamond-shaped earring. Trucy: Daddy. Phoenix's gaze follows her in silence as she walks; she stops by the window. Trucy: Meet...
3rd page of the comic. Trucy bows and gestures towards the window. Bursting forth, perched on the sill, sending the curtains billowing in the wind, Kay sends Phoenix a two-fingered salute jovially. Trucy: —your new daughter. Kay: Hullo! Phoenix smiles blankly. Phoenix: haha my new what
Last page of the comic. Kay hoists Trucy up by the waist; with Trucy doing an airplane pose, they run around the room while chanting, "Sisters! Sisters! Sisters! Sisters!" Phoenix holds Kay's residence card, her name now written as "Kay Faraday-Wright". He has a flashback to last week, where Edgeworth says, "I've been considering asking Ms. Faraday if she'd like it if I adopted her," to which Phoenix jokingly replied, "Keep considering and Trucy's gonna steal her first lol". Phoenix continues to smile vacantly as he thinks, "Edgeworth's gonna kill me."
