you would not know which one of these guys is the main character based on how I draw them
Concept: The Bsd Beast version of chapter 122 is Beast Akutagawa trying to open the door and all his fallen friends standing behind him.
His better halves all helping him open the door.
Pathetic
Really wish we'd gotten to see more of this side of Dazai.
Like, that many bottles?? Man is either a functioning alcoholic, or he hasn't cleaned in a decade.
I wanna know exactly what pain he's drowning in there. And it's not like he doesn't have a lot of shit to work through?? For how popular Dazai as a character is, the show really hasn't given us much more than glimpses of what goes on in his head.
Is it pain, or guilt? Or both? Show me. Convince me you're human, after all.
I also had the honour of doing the covers for the @dadworthzine ❤️ both generations of Edgeworth are near and dear to me
Plus also misery 🥰:
drew this a bit ago, i want this trio to be together...
happy april 5th.. heres to many more years of this guy being dead
saw a post that made me think of them
King of subtlety
BONUS:
Isn't it ten kinds of insane how similar Oda and Akutagawa truly are? Like, I could make a whole list, but they're actually so alike and it sorta kills me inside.
Described as emotionless killers in their youth?? Taken children under their care, only to watch them die in front of them and then gone on a suicide mission for revenge?? Needed a clear-cut reason to live?? Both recruited in the mafia by Dazai?? Mafia members who don't kill??? The only two main characters to have actually died / have death be a big part of their arc??
Yes, their personalities are different, but I also totally see Akutagawa growing older and maturing out of his anger toward the world (once he finds a reason to live that's not Dazai) and becoming quieter, gentler, maybe picking up writing–
I'm so normal about them, obviously.
Can't believe sskk killed all the other ships in the last chapter, wow
