I’ve also thought of this a lot and I can finally say that I truly believe that while the quality of the hair and the products you use are definitely extremely important, so is the technique you use. You could spend a full $1k on a wig but it wouldn’t look good unless you knew how to pluck and install it, there are plenty of really hot affordable synthetic wigs and synthetic/human hair blend wigs currently on the market, there are ways to install wigs that are simple but still end up making you look like you’re on fire, and there are wigs that are on the more expensive end that just won’t look good if you don’t know how to install them.
