Solver Uzi

I’ve got a couple headcannons not really BIG ones just small little details. The first one is that Uzi’s Tail has a mind of it’s own expressing what Uzi feels even when doesn’t show it, and in this it’s trying to stop the absolute solver from causing harm, but failing this thought comes from episode 6 when Uzi’s biting N’s hair/hat caused because, Tessa was petting his hair, so that’s the first one the second one is when Uzi turns to her solver her core symbol changes into the symbol that the disassembly drones cause Uzi’s solver form and the disassembly drones are similar, sorry for the GIANT rant but just something I wanted to say thank you for reading THIS far.

He gets a curious look on his face and goes searching for his sister, finding the door to her room slightly cracked. There are two voices on the other side in hushed tones.

"You think you'll regret it?"

"Of course not. We both agreed on it right?"

Oh! Miss Roth must be staying over again... but what are they talking about?

"Just wanna make sure you're okay doing this, it's not fun otherwise."

Wat?

The sides of his head burn, s-should he be listening to this?

He knocks on the door briskly before walking in. He stumbles on... a scene.

Tera is slipping a ring on Kiara's finger, it's gems now modified to be partially teal and partially purple. They both immediately jolt, staring up at Bishop as his eyes wander to the matching ring around Tera's neck.

His eyes hollow.

"N-no. B, this- I can explain..." Tera moves a bit towards him, nerves displayed clearly on her visor.

He's screaming down the stairs a moment later. "TERA AND KIARA ARE ENGAGED! SHE JUST PROPOSED!"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU GOD DAMN DRAMA QUEEN!" Tera roars after him- trying to catch him to literally shove a sock in his mouth.

Grabs a medical-kit and keeps 911 on sped dial

Hey Tera, you still up for that sparring offer?

She's pissed beyond belief. Steam roiling from her mouth every time she takes a breath. Tail thrashing around wildly.

"Fuck yes."

“Still I feel bad I feel like I took a fish out of water but self pity won’t help I’ll to make it up to him somehow.”

I'm curious to know, how is Bishop dealing with the sudden potential mate problem?

He paces in his room after school, pulling at his own hair. Muttering to himself.

"Why now? Nothing happened, Nothing Changed. Why now?"

He pauses for a moment, before proceeding to pace. "Why him? What about us is compatible? We don't even talk that much. Why HIM?"

Oil is Thicker Then Blood (Part 68)

N slowly pulled himself out of sleep mode, limbs feeling heavy and sluggish, he'd been awoken by… something? Not alarming enough for him to snap awake but enough for him to be roused from consciousness.

His gaze fell to the warmth cradled beside him, her tail swaying lazily as she purred softly, she was facing away from him, but both his arms were already wrapped around her, her head resting near his shoulder.

Riiiiiip

Ah, so that was the sound that woke him up, his head roving around the room to place the source of the sound, eventually finding Tera in the corner of the room, tearing a small pillow to shreds with her teeth.

At first, he almost went back to sleep, something in the back of his mind telling him that he shouldn't worry, she was just practicing hunting, and was in no danger.

Before the less primal part of his brain caught up, and realized she shouldn't be trying to rip something apart at all. And he sprung up and forward to separate her from her cotton-filled prey.

“No! Tera! We don't destroy things!” He lightly scolded, grabbing her by her onesie-scruff. She only tried to wiggle her way to freedom in response, kicking and pawing into the air at him.

He took a look at the pillow, sighing as the fake-cotton fluff fell out of it, she'd made a decent hole in it, and it was covered in teeth marks and drool where she'd tried over and over to rip it.

“How'd you even rip it?” He asked, more to himself as he looked back at her, she was snapping in the direction of it as if it had wronged her. Bearing her teeth.

Teeth that… looked way sharper then they had just yesterday.

He did a double take, putting one of his hands under her armpit to gently but firmly grab her while he examined her teeth. Poking a finger into her mouth.

There was no denying it, there were now tiny fangs present in Tera's mouth, currently tangled with thread and cotton from where she'd ripped at the pillow, she didn't appreciate her father poking around in her mouth, growling at him as she tried to thrash.

What… did this mean? Tera had picked up some of their traits, sure. The chirping, the growling, the purring. Even his spooky ‘X’ occasionally. But this… this wasn't something she could just learn! She shouldn't have fangs!

Though it did explain the teething…

“Uh…” His mouth fell open uselessly before he pulled the thread and cotton out of his daughters mouth and tossed the pillow through the thick curtain and outside so she couldn't knaw on it anymore. And sat her back down, watching as she continued to crawl around like nothing happened.

He blinked, before crawling back over time Uzi and gently shaking her awake.

“Uzi…”

“Mmmgh, go away…” She mumbled sleepily back, flicking her tail in his direction as if to wave him off, he got a little louder, more urgent.

“Uzi. Uh, There's kinda a problem.” He shook a little harder, making her groan and stretch like a ct as she lightly shoved him off, before flopping back on her stomach, shoving her face into the pillows.

“Tera has fangs.”

“Mmhm.” She made a kind of affirmative noise before her tail went stiff and she quickly moved to get up.

“Wait, what?!” She pounced over in Tera's direction, making the toddler look at her mother in surprise as she was once again put on her back and her mouth was examined, much to her dismay.

“H-holy shit.” Uzi poked her finger with one of Tera's fangs, reeling back surprised when it actually hurt a little. Blinking as she looked back over at N.

“H-how? She shouldn't -she's a normal worker drone-” She released the droneling, who went back to minding her own business, and swatting at some dangling lace.

They both went silent, lost in thought, before N thought back to the moment he'd gotten a small taste of her oil, with a slight irony taste.

“Your oil…” He said slowly, but it seemed like Uzi had already come to that conclusion herself, holding her head as the realization hit her. Tera had been infected since the first moment she'd donated her oil, even before they'd even considered her adoption.

“I… didn't know… It never, it's just code, I-” She stopped herself, knowing damn well it stopped being ‘just code’ when she had a full pair of lungs and was currently growing a baby inside her.

“I did ruin her…” She mumbled, curling in on herself as that thought made a path of destruction through her head. As always, N was there, pressing his head against hers and getting her to calm down.

“You do the best you can, with the information you have.”

“Huh?”

“It's… something Tessa used to say. You didn't know, you were being helpful, donating your oil. If you knew, you wouldn't have.” He admitted, while also stopping her spiral before it could start, he gestured over to Tera; who had begun trying to rip into another pillow, thankfully unsuccessfully.

“Look at her, she's happy and healthy, she's not ruined… just different. Like us.” Uzi watched as her daughter pounced on the pillow, bouncing off of it and rolling to a stop before shaking her head and doing it again, an (albeit aggressive) smile on her face.

“I guess it really makes her ours now huh?” Uzi acquiesced, leaning into her boyfriend as she sighed. She still didn't feel great about unintentionally infecting Tera with the solver but, if they had made her themselves wouldn't it be the same outcome? She'd have been born with the solver, just like Uzi.

“She always was. But… yeah, it does.” N replied, watching their kit try and fail to hunt a pillow, hands interlaced.

Tera’s gonna hate herself after this more trauma to the pile

*I begin frantically repairing her systems* Wait why don’t I just flood this place with oil?

*I flood Tera’s mind with oil in hopes of cooling it down*

That seems to have done the trick, steam plums around Tera's chassis, the solver beginning to stitch up any still lingering damage to her processors.

And yet... she still creeps ever closer, claws dragging across the wooden balcony, a horrible scraping following her as Kiara was pressed up against the wall, a clawed hand coming to rest by her head, leaving grooves in the wood.

Tera licks her lips, long grey tongue coming out of her mouth, fog leaving her maw as the solver symbol remained fixed on her visor.

Kiara closes her eyes, fists balling against her sides and she turns her head away, not being able to bear looking at her any longer.

She whimpers when hot tongue meets the side of her face, fear building up inside her core.

"Tera... please..."

The solver drone suddenly drops into a heap, visor going blank.

[Reboot, Standby!]
