Because I'm only seeing other Jews posting about this, non-Jews I need you to be aware that for the past month or two there has been a wave of bomb threats and swattings at synagogues all across the US. They usually do it when services are being livestreamed. I haven't seen a single non-Jew talking about this. High holidays are coming up in a few weeks, which is when most attacks happen against our communities. We're worried, and we need people to know what's happening to us.

apart from a small community of indiviuals with matzo ball fever, no one has ever significantly fetishized judaism. this is because judaism is not particularly cool. we dont have the hardcore metal deathsex imagery of the christians nor do we have the white-america-scaring streed cred of islam. and now thanks to zionism fully showing its hand as a cornball nazi crybaby ideology we will probably never be able to be cool either unless we bring back our communist roots by significantly reviving bundism or smth. its all so embarassing frankly. all we have atp is uncut gems

Jewish culture is so rad. The humor and the cooperative overlapping and the sprinkles of Jewish languages peppering a conversation that feels like little fireworks in my brain. The pragmatism, emphasis on learning and education, the food obsession, the insults are on another level. How completely unserious we can be. The superstitions and folklore and social mores. The way that we can all instantly clock a JVP faker at a hundred paces. The ease and connection that every single Jew has with each other. It’s so healing and it feels like a warm bath for me.
