Jewish culture is so rad. The humor and the cooperative overlapping and the sprinkles of Jewish languages peppering a conversation that feels like little fireworks in my brain. The pragmatism, emphasis on learning and education, the food obsession, the insults are on another level. How completely unserious we can be. The superstitions and folklore and social mores. The way that we can all instantly clock a JVP faker at a hundred paces. The ease and connection that every single Jew has with each other. It’s so healing and it feels like a warm bath for me.

Would you explain to a black person what is and isn't racism? To a woman what is and isn't misogyny? Would you dictate what's allowed to make trans people feel unsafe, and what isn't sufficiently transphobic? Say to a Democrat who vandalized a Trump 2024 sign that actually the fact that they got thrown into an almost-freezing river and were only allowed out after they yelled "Trump 2024!" was only fair, since obviously that's what they deserve for vandalizing?
