I love the idea that Joel & Gem are both some kind of shapeshifter. Where the only difference between them is that Gem has a much more consistent appearance, so not many people even know she’s a shapeshifter.

But Joel constantly changes up everything from his species to his height on the regular so everybody knows and is tired of him telling them.

Sometimes when I worry I look mad or I look too serious, I will just trip in nothing on purpose so the person will idk think I'm not mad or serious I'm just spacing out and incredibly clumsy and I dont know feel comfortable around me, and right now as Im writing this I'm realizing that makes 0 sense why would me tripping show that I'm a friendly human that makes no sense you don't see someone trip and think "wow they seem nice :]" no you see someone trip and you try not to laugh to loud at you just don't why did I ever do this
