I drew him during class and I really like the way he looked so y'all get some doodles :)
I always wanted to try clay sculpting as a new hobby and here we are!! My first project was sculpting one of my favourite Sanrio characters, My Melody!
Clay sculpting is tough when I'm still a newbie but hey, first times are always messy and I'm okay with that ππ
Scag's the most recent I drew, Bive and DrRETRO were drawn weeks ago.
Also not in my regular style this time!
I (accidentally) developed this style from the DrRETRO doodles (who's also the first NPC I drew). I really like doodling this way and I wanna share these because whaleπ³... I really love these! A lot!

[ REENACTMENT OF THIS MORNING OVER ]
AAAAAH THIS DOESN'T FEEL REAAAAL!!! I almost didn't believe the notification until I watched the VOD. Like "Oh my god, I actually did it!"
This competition was fun even though I didn't win first place. It's character designing, a passion of mine. It got me to design something, one of my favourite things to do!
I am honoured of being judged by two amazing artists. It felt so surreal hearing their words about Ferryman's Scorpion.
And I am amazed at the other contestants' entries. There's such wonderful variety of artists that are so, so good.
Thank you dearly for this opportunity π

P.S I want to shout out this doodle of an alien-like creature that I made in highschool.
See that center body that kinda looks like a pie? That was the final puzzle piece to the design of the Ferryman's Scorpion. So thank you, 17 year old Meera!

My entry for @catmask 's and @frogcroaks ' contest, Monster Mayhem!
I chose the theme Wisteria Will-O-Wisp for flower symbolism and will-o'-the-wisp folklore. Also because of the color purple β My favourite color π
Thank you for hosting this contest where I can try out monster designing and good luck to the other participants. Peace and love on planet Earth!

Here's two still images of said gif!
You know, an interesting tumblr transformation that's happened gradually, and which I've seen no one talk about: ask-culture has essentially dropped off to nothing.
By which I mean, asks used to be WAY more of the tumblr economy. They used to be more common to send, and receive, and see. They were integral to the collaborative, forum-like behavior of old tumblr communities, not even to speak on the HUGE number of ask-blogs that used to exist to only be interacted with in ask-form.
I'm not saying this in a vying-for-attention way but instead in an observational way: I used to get way way more asks in like 2015, even with a fraction of my follower count. I wonder if it's due to the homogenization of social media sites? There's a lot more of this divide between "content creator" and "consumer" instead of just a bunch of peer blogs who would talk to each other. "Asks" aren't really a thing on twitter, are they? And as I understand it, the closest thing to an "ask" on instagram or tiktok would be a creator screenshotting some comment and responding to it in a new reel or video or whatever those content mediums are. Are asks just too tumblr-specific? Is that aspect of the site culture dying out as more and more people converge to using all their social media sites in the same way?

An urgent and urgent appeal. Please do not stop reading. I am Safaa Asaad, a university student. I am 26 years old and married. I gave birth to my first child during the war. My life was full of love and optimism. I was distinguished in the field of law. I was diligent and had dreams and ambition. I intended to open my own law firm and defend the rights of others, diligently and diligently. In restoring the rights to their owners, I got married while I was a student. I married the right man whom I had always been waiting for. We loved to always be together. He suffered before he married me. He worked hard to build the house and collect money to propose to me. His source of income was very good, and we got married and lived a good life. As time passed, the war came, and I had not completed the year. My marriage and our home were destroyed. My husband lost his job. My father, after seeing the devastation that befell our area, became unable to speak and became paralyzed from the outside. My husband, two months after entering the war, gave birth to my first child under difficult circumstances in a small tent full of insects and mosquitoes. I and my son could not live in a tent because of the insects, so we fled to escape. The border is under the shadow of the wall. We are suffering greatly, and now, after exhaustion and exhaustion, I decided to create a donation link to go out and save my family from Gaza. We were insulted and humiliated by the occupation army. The relative died and the relatives were killed. We were displaced. I cannot describe what happened to us. I ask you to save my family and get us out of Gaza with a donation. To us via the link so that we can secure our lives and let my son live the life I dreamed of, open a law firm, and open a project for my beloved husband. Please donate and support the campaign. Thank you for reading.
