Started using Toonsquid on iPad for animating shit posts instead of Procreate. I don't like the drawing tools as much, but the animating tools are way better. The hardest part of this was finding references in neutral lighting for Prowler Miles' final design. There's only like this thing that I found from some article.

Doflamingo and LoveyBug enjoying the breeze in the Dressrosan Sunflower Fields.

This is the very first finished One Piece animation I didn't trace the anime and manga for! Yay!
Drawing Doflamingo from behind did make things a lot easier, sure, but I'm personally very proud of how much more comfortable I've become in trusting my skills to just wing it entirely.

One of my proudest animations to date. Base of the art is Boichi's rendition of Ace's Story Manga (part 1) because I do very much like to trace the first frame to make sure my animation doesn't end up looking horrible :P
Just finished reading Law's novel for the first time... I cried a little bit... I really enjoyed it!!
I still have yet to read Ace's novel part 2 and to get my hands on Hour of Kikoku. I look forward to reading those too!
Doflamingo cooking for @saracrossing02 's #DoffyCooking ... event? prompt? Whatever you'd like to call it!
I really wanted to try out this sort of simplified motion in animation and thought of that just this morning so having this prompt as a base this evening was kind of perfect to steal a gif of Sanji cooking in the anime and slap Doffy all over it :P
Doing this is a nice break from my usual animations which take between 15-20 hours whereas this only took roughly 4 hours (thankfully, my wrist couldn't have taken much more! xP )
I had Dressrosa on while animating this and I like to think that it was quite inspiring. I've finally gotten my hands on the English dub and oh my god I think I love Doffy even more now. The voice is so freaking creepy and I really do just connect with the story more when I understand what's being said. (Only understanding the ocassional "kakoii" really isn't enough :P )
