Steph May Not Be My First Pick For Tim, But Goddamn Are They Hilarious Together

still feel like shit but bart's hair seems like something worth watching. he's sharp. he's fierce.

if i had a nickle for every time bruce has woken up a very tired tim, i'd have two nickles, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

ive always assumed that Tim wouldn't like coffee because he doesn't seem a fan of mind altering substances, so him not being into uppers and downers like caffeine just makes sense by association

I think dc should release a comic where tim says "I don't like coffee" even if it's just to watch 60 percent of their fan base realise they have no clue what his actual personality is like.... I think thatd be really fun...

bruce certainly isn’t perfect, but he isn’t terrible either. i think one of the fandom’s difficulties in writing bruce is that he isn’t just good dad or bad dad.

now, im not saying i write him perfectly, but i really do try and get the layers of his relationships down. 

it’s so obvious that bruce cares a whole bunch. he loves his kids (i just sort of ignore the bad-bruce-characterization in some comics lol). the small interactions and chats of batman and robin get these across wonderfully. it’s a shame that some comics completely reduce these soft moments through poor writing. 

i got into dc through fanfiction, but the more comics i read, the more i just fall in love with the fandom. the way tim acts older than he is- the way he tries, but there’s always something deeper simmering within- it’s so incredibly. 

also, the whole contagion story line? is that just completely unexplored by the fanfiction community? because ohh-my-god it has amazing potential and i’ve never seen anything work with it other than half-heartedly addressing it. 

so yeah, im writing a little oneshot for it lol

tim has such a big heart. this sequence was so saddening.

the worst part is that this is just before batman betrays his identity to steph.

he’s so intelligent and caring! he always has a plan. granted, i can only speak for robin-era, but i think it all counts

but seriously, does this not tug at your heart? tim just wants a partner and bruce keeps sending his mixed messages. it hurts, man. i love it
