stop for a moment and look at his leetol face. baby.
i was thinking more tim losing a part of himself and becoming more if batman's soldier. i might be looking too far into it, but because tim's expressed his unwanting of becoming like batman, that's just what stuck to me.
plus, the other two's nightmares have to do with insecurities/worries, so tim's unwant made sense to me. especially with the frightening depiction of batman.
idk lol. i like to dive deep into things that dont usually have a deeper meaning.
robin, impulse, and superboy all have nightmares while camping out.
tim's fears are always having to do with becoming too much like batman. like, every time.
the flash picking on tim drake, and tim drake being defensive of his age.
if fanon got one thing right, it's that tim doesn't like people insinuating that he's young lmao
not a clue! that certainly makes more sense, though. im just going off of this
dick and tim gossiping about bruce. neither of them considered bruce as their dad; more like the weird younger uncle who used to babysit them
you know, realistically, tim brings up a good point. i mean, he wasn't just a lonely child boo hoo or anything, it's implied that his only present family would up and leave semi frequently to the point that it was normalized for tim, who has a VERY strong moral compass.
this panel sequence is just... so much. first of all, it hits the awkward part of tim drake just right. deny it all you want, the boy blurts dumb shit kinda often lol.
then, there is the bond between the two boys. they may not be bruce's sons at that point, but they certainly do act like brothers. plus, that connection to bruce that tim has. man, it produces some good angst.
BAM. comic book proof of tim being left alone. i will never doubt another fanfic writer again. okay, that's a lie.
anyone else laughing at how tim's age makes zero sense?
can you imagine working with someone who you've idolized since the age of seven and have them not smile at you for months? smiling is like the bare minimum for any friendliness or openness whatsoever. i doubt he literally never smiled, but what tim says suggests that the environment wasn't quite easy for a while.
also tim being starved for praise is always what i wanna see. sorry fluff fans.
it is obligation. it's unhealthy and destructive, but it's his obligation.
nice
AWW HES PROUD. LOOK AT BATMAM BEING A GOOD FATHER-FIGURE. take notes, jack drake. naybe talk to your son every once in a while
you see, i say all of this, but then bruce abandons tim for months at a time out of guilt. man, i have a problem
crash landing!
i used to blog about comic books, but my latest project has been selling my cute lil stickers!
